Secrets

3rd person:
It was a normal day with Eduardo, Jon, Mark and Todd, except it wasnt.
Jon and Todd were playing a board game with Eduardo watcging the T.V. and Mark 'reading' a book.
Eduardo could tell that he clearly wasn't actually reading it just making it look like he was but Edu could see through it. For one he was spending way to long on one page, at least for him, he would flip two pages at once and he was spending more time looking at the clock than the pages.......not to mention the book was upside down

~Time skip~
After awhile Mark rushed off to his room without a word leaving Eduardo to his thoughts about What was going on, so he told the others about what he saw. Except they didn't seem to care as much as he did.
Eduardo was trying to convince Jon and Todd that something was wrong with Mark.
"I'm telling you guys he's been completely distracted all day! I don't think he was even reading"
Jon and Todd just stared at him like he was an idiot
"Of course he wasn't actually reading! You just said that he was holding the book upside down!"
Jon stated making Todd laugh and Eduardo feel stupid.
They weren't reacting the way he thought they would, he was expecting them to listen and be concerned for his odd behavior but they didn't seem to care. He couldn't help but wonder if they know something he doesn't.
Mark came down the stairs dressed somewhat fancy
"Hey guys I'm heading out! I'll be back in an hour or two"
He shouted to them as he headed out the door, Todd answered with the weirdest thing.
"Don't have to much fun lover boy!"
Mark chuckled and Jon lightly elbowed him for the comment while giggling about it anyway
"You two know something don't you?"
Eduardo has seen enough to know that.
"Listen Edu I think it's best you drop it for know and try asking him about it later ok?"
Jon just wanted to get Eduardo to not worry about it anymore, mostly becuase he was being really annoying.
After a series of arguments mostly due to the fact that Eduardo wanted to know why it was kept secret from him.

"Tell me or I'm making dinner the rest of the week!"

That alone was terrifying
"Okay fine! Mark is going on a date with Matt! He didn't tell you becuase he didn't want to deal with you! We all knew you would be judgemental and stupid!"
Todd shouted
"Just because I hate Edd and the rest of his friends doesn't mean I'd judge him."
Eduardo argued
"What? No, it's becuase Mark knew the minute he heard you say something bad about Mark he'd punch you right in the face."
Jon corrected quickly
"Mark really likes him and they may have only been dating for two weeks but I'd be willing to say Mark loves him."
Todd added fanboying

~At the park~
Mark and Matt were sitting on a picnic blanket together and Mark gifted his lovely ginger with pretty light purple flowers
"Aw there so pretty!"
Matt said happily wich was relieving for Mark.
"I didn't know what kind you liked so I got ones that were your favorite colour"
Matt thought Mark was sweet for setting the whole thing up for the two of them at a nice place and time where they could watch the sun set together. He felt lucky to have someone like Mark who cares for him so much, his friends certainly found it adorable with Edd trying to come up with a ship name, Tord saying if Mark broke Matt's heart he would tear his heart out in return, and Tom being Tom said that the last thing Matt needed was someone to make his ego bigger, he was joking of course and what he really meant was 'that's adorable but I'm not gonna say that'.
Thinking about it Matt has been talking about Mark just as much as he talks about himself.
"My friends have been teasing me about our date all day isn't that funny?"
Matt asked his boyfriend making him laugh
"Yeah I only told Todd and Jon but I think Eduardo realised something was going on, he's not good at being subtle"
Mark chuckled about the memory of Eduardo trying keyword trying to talk quietly about him to the other two.
"Knowing him after I left he probably got them to tell him what was going on, he's not dumb enough to still have no idea I was going on a date"
The fact that Mark called one of his close friends dumb made Matt laugh.
"Edd wouldn't stop trying to think of a ship name he was coming up with weird combinations and tried to use the m a from my name and the r k from your name and just got Mark so...."
Matt said amused but also annoyed
"Well that would make Mark I suppose"
It accured to him that they both have very weird, obnoxious and not very intelligent friends who wear the exact same colours. It's almost as if they were meant to be each others counter parts but hey? That would be crazy.
They layed on the picnic blanket together talking as the sun went down and until it was dark, they started to head leave together and they may be neighbors but Mark walked Matt to his door.
Of course when he opened it there was chaos.
