"You good?" Tyrae ask me.

We was driving to red lobster for our date. I would've canceled but i didn't want to stay in the house with my momma playing City girls Album on repeat all day.

"Yeah." I gave him a small smile.

"You sure? You don't got no questions to ask me?" He chuckle

I shook my head no looking out the car window.

He pulled the car to the side of the road then turn in his seat to talk to me.

"Wassup Evangeline talk to me." He grab my hand kissing it.

"My mother and father going through some things right now and I scared of what about to happened. They been together all my life I don't what I will do if the get divorced." I look away trying not to cry.

"I get it. My dad and mom just got married. I didn't like him for years. He would always cheat on my mom then the nigga got a reality check now they married or whatever you call that shit." He scoff

I scrunch my eyebrows shock how he was talking about his father.

"How long they been married?"

"Two years.. and my mother waited on his ass too. I told her to move on but she didn't want to listen."

"Dang. Maybe they Happy now you never know. Love is a crazy drug." I tried to cheer him up.

"Yeah. Okay."

I bit my bottom lip." Well you did kinda cheer me up." I smile trying to change the subject.

He chuckle." Sorry we suppose to be y'all about your problems and I made it all about me."

"You fine. I'm just overthinking my parents love each other I know this lil bump will pass."

"Alright. You ready to eat now?" He turn on his turning signals

I nod my head and look ahead as drove on the road.

"Tink I'm not even doing nothing." I said leaning back on her couch stressing.

"Then Why was a hotel key in your pocket?" She sip her drink waiting for me to answer.

I sigh rubbing my temples.

"Yeah,don't tell me anything. You know I'm going to have to tell Aaliyah. You sure you don't wanna wait for Keshawn to get home?"

"Nah, Tell Aaliyah cause as soon I try to tell ha she going to wanna fight."

"I was about to. I met this girl while shopping and we had good conversation. It was good talking to somebody other than Aaliyah. She ask me to meet her at the Hamptons so I went grab the key but while I was on the elevator Aaliyah FaceTime me making me know that I was making a mistake and to go home.
