Love lies

Episode eleven

Joanna pov
My father's castle is not to far away, what will he think of me when I betray him. He always told me I was useless but every night he would tell me he loved me. My mind isn't focusing and I am trapped in my own conscious. I know Hugo loves all his friends and I know he won't be killing any of them. I have a bad feeling that he's going to sacrifice himself in order to keep them alive.

Every step I take I get more nervous and more regretful. If I would've never made that deal all of us would be safe; I can't harm Hugo or his friends because they are now also my friends.

Past tense
Joanna: Maybe we shouldn't do this.
Everyone stopped walking.
Megumi: what do you mean we shouldn't do this?
Joanna: I just don't want to go on with Thais deal. I can break the deal if Hugo agrees with it and we can go back to our normal lives.
Megumi: I'm not going to back away now, if we reason with Tanshirak I can finally know the truth about my mother.
Joanna: no, no.
Megumi: What No? Why are you saying this, you were the one who wanted to defeat your father.
Joanna: I'm scared.
Megumi: Joanna...it's okay to be scared. We're all scared.
Leo: Thats true.
Neko: I may act all tough and all but I'm terrified of your father.
Hugo: same here.
Joanna: He's my father, he's been there for me for my whole life. I just can't kill him. It's wrong.
Megumi: I know how you feel but you have to get over it. Face your fears and let go.

The five friends had a long motivational conversation to boost everyone's energy and helped their mind get focused on their task. However, Joanna's mind had opened a new chamber that no one had known about. Tanshirak had been keeping a secret from her since she was born. All her memories were given back to her.

Joanna: Guys my head hurts.
Hugo: Okay, lets take a break.
Neko: are you alright Joanna? I can sing for you. :)
Joanna: it's fine Neko I just had this weird flashback of Myself and Megumi. I saw her standing next to be in this room. And then she was gone.
Megumi: I've had that dream before. I never really though on why I had it but I found it irrelevant.

Leo: I have something to tell you guys...before we left on this journey I received a light message from Misha.
Megumi: what did she say?
Leo: she told me we were going to meet Joanna and that she was related to the Darling family.

Joanna: I know that already, I've known it for a long time. But I don't know what I am to your family Megumi.
Neko: We'll find out later after we get your father to speak.
