Episode eight

Joanna: I see you've discovered your true power.

Neko: what? How'd you know I did that.

Joanna: I have my ways.

Neko: what did I just do?

Joanna: you released the true light stone and it powered your body to full magical.

Neko: so you're saying. I'm special?

Joanna: well not special, I know many people who did what you just did but yes you're special for the light magicals.

Neko: I don't know what to say, I thought I was just a lucky holder of a magic stone I didn't know I could do this.

Joanna: don't do it often, it messes up the time pattern and the things are suppose to happen might not happen. Like you killing me.

Neko: I know not to do that anymore.

Joanna: bad actions have bad consequences my dear.

Neko: I'm going to help you kill your father.

Joanna: sure I'll need an extra hand...Thank You Neko. I'll let Hugo know you're alright and that you're going to help me.

Neko: I'm sorry that I killed you...

Joanna: nah it's fine. It didn't hurt. I don't feel pain.

Neko laughed and then Joanna started to laugh.

Neko: You're not as heatless as I thought bum.

Joanna: Don't call me a bum or I'll zap you.

Neko: BUM!

Joanna: Now you're getting it.

Joanna sends a light towards Neko, she tries to run away but she was to slow. Once it reached her Neko fell to the floor laughing like a maniac.

Joanna: Told you you were gonna get it.

Neko (still laughing): Make it stopp!

Joanna does a hand motion and the light disappears. She walks past Neko telling her to hurry up. They walk into the distance holding their weapons tightly as if they were ready to attack at any given moment.

Back at Angelica Hugo, Leo and Megumi are sitting silently with no movement until Hugo senses something in the air. Megumi Leans close to him to see if she could feel it too but was unsuccessful.

Hugo: Neko...She's alright. Joanna's with her. She said that Neko wants to join her in killing Tanshirak.

Megumi: We can't let her do that! She could die. Hugo please tell Joanna to send her back.

Leo: We all Know Neko is strong Megumi, if she wants to fight let her fight.

Megumi: but..but.

Leo: No buts. You can't decide what she wants to do with her life.

Hugo: Leo's right. All this time you've basically been controlling Neko.

Megumi: I DO IT TO PROTECT HER! DON'T YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND? SHE'S THE CLOSET THING TO FAMILY I HAVE! Even if Joanna use to be my best friend I don't trust her.

Hugo: But you can trust me. I know for sure that Neko will be fine.

Leo: I'll let you to talk things out, I'll be right back.

Leo slowly walks out of the secured room with a grin on his face. Hugo goes up to Megumi and hugs her; her body loosens up and melts into his arm. She starts to tear up but Hugo comes in with his finger to wipe the tear away.

Hugo: There's no need to cry megumi.

Megumi: You can call me Mae, it's a nickname my mom gave me when I was young.

Hugo: I think that's the cutest name I've heard.

They both smile at each-other, their eyes glistening to the light and their hand intertwining into one anthers.

Megumi

I think I love him.
