Episode five

(Megumi's flashback, age 3)

Megumi: CARA! WAIT UP!
Cara: Hurry Meg, the train is about to leave!
Megumi: I can't make it!
Cara: yes you can! come on, you're nearly there!
Megumi: (starts to cry) Cara, help me. I can't make it!
Cara: hurry! It's leaving!
Megumi: CARA! (Cries more)
Cara: It's too late meg, I'll see you later!
Megumi: NO! CARA!!
(We hear a child's scream, cara's scream,)

(Megumi is now in that horse carriage with Neko when they're leaving Fencery)

Megumi: I miss Cara.
Neko: it's okay, I'm here for you. (She hugs Megumi)

(In fencery, still the flashback)
(In Megumi's eyes we see a black shadow killing Cara, Megumi panics and runs away panting)

(Present day)

Megumi wakes up in fright, panting hard. She gets up from the ground surrounded with her friend calling her name.

Hugo: MEGUMI ARE YOU OKAY?!
Megumi: w-w-what happened? Where's Joanna? Is she dead?
Leo: Woah there, one question at a time. I can't keep up.
Megumi: And who are you?
Neko: THAT'S LEO, HE'S SO DREAMY!
Megumi: Euh Neko you don't say that to strangers.
Neko: He's not a stranger, he is my soulmate and Hugo's brother.
Leo: ummm..I'm not your soulmate.
Neko: (whispers sadly) yes you are.
Megumi: I don't have time for this (gets up), where's she.
Hugo: We captured her, she's locked up in a magic free zone in the palace.
Megumi: I want to talk to her.
Hugo: Alright, I'll take you to her.
Leo: I'm coming too.
Neko: CAN I COME?
Leo: ummm..
Hugo: Of course Neko.
Neko: YAY!

Neko clings onto Leo so that she is being dragged on the floor as he walks, she doesn't mind. We reach the palace gates. Hugo tells all of us to hold onto him tightly, we do as he says. Once everybody held on Hugo turns into an angel; his wings are around 8 feet long and they are beautiful. They are so soft I could probably fall asleep in them. We flew up into the sky and into the palace, but I notice Taylor isn't with us.

Megumi: Where's Taylor?
Neko & Leo: She needed to go help these group of guards fight something.
( Neko smiles)
Megumi: Will she come back?
Neko: yupp, she said she'll be back when we need her most.

We land right in front of Joanna's cell, she spots us and gets up coming closer but the cell bars kept us safe from her.

Joanna: How nice of you to come see me princess. You couldn't fight back when I was about to kill you, a man had to come save you. How can you handle greater darkness when you can't even handle me? This must be a joke, the dragon princess doesn't know how to act like what she's meant to be. HA, pathetic. Just kill me now, I can't handle all these lies.

Megumi: Will you shut up? Just for once? You think you're strong? YOU were defeated and you got captured. You're as worse as me if you think about it. Why say all these things when the real coward is you.

Hugo: Megumi that's enough that's not why we're here.

Joanna: No, the princess is right. I'm not as great as you think.

Neko whispers: I never thought you were great.

Joanna: My father used me to get your power so that he can take it for himself. He never loved me.
Megumi: But that doesn't matter, do you know how many lives you have ended? ALL THOSE INNOCENT LIVES? Of course you don't, you're heartless.
Hugo: Guards, open the cell. Let her go.
Megumi: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Hugo: If she says she's innocent then she is. Just let her go Megumi.
Neko: we didn't ask her the questions yet Hugo.
Leo: Brother, this is not the right path to take.
Hugo: Let her GO.

The cell door opens and Joanna walks out.

Megumi: Get the hell out Joanna.

( third person Megumi)

Megumi hides a knife behind her.

Joanna: How foolish can you guys be? HAHA, dumb magicals. Someone needs to teach you a lesson. ( she summons are scythe ready to attack)

When Joanna was about to swing her weapon she starts puking up blood. She looks down and sees her stomach cut open.

Megumi: I told you to get out.

Megumi was holding a bloody knife, she had killed Joanna and was proud.

Megumi: Even though we didn't get answers I'm sure your father will be 'delighted' that his garbage daughter is dead.

Joanna falls to the floor.

( first person megumi)

Neko, Leo and I turned around to see hugo standing there with his eyes covered in some sort of black substance. He's trying to say something but the words won't come out.

Megumi: Hugo?
