Love lies

Episode one

Now in 2070 everything is different. Technology has grown and so have abilities such as magic. Megumi is one of the lucky people who have these abilities. She has dark magic but it causes her to have a curse she can't remove. People get magic by having a magic stone or they're born with it, it can be an element like a water stone or a adjective like dark stone.

(First person megumi)

Thursday 23th March
It's a gloomy day as Megumi wakes up the first day of school. She rushes down stairs and are greeted by her 'parents', she ignores them and heads to school. When she gets to school she bumps into Hugo and falls, Hugo takes her to the nurse and tells her that she's going to be okay. Megumi blushes as he walks out the nurses office.

I can't believe I bumped into him AGAIN. Is it me or is he the only one that gets in my way, there's like no other soul in this planet I'll bump into except for him. I walk out of the nurses office. The hallway is black, the lights are still on but the floors and walls are covered with some black substance. As I reach to touch it I realize it's blood.

A cloaked person ran towards me, I panicked so I activated my dark shield; the person was impressed to see what I have done. The person whispers "the time has come" and I fall to the floor.

I wake up. Everything is completely fine. I'm being carried by neko my best friend ( she holds a light stone, she's also a cat girl) . She sees that I'm awake so she puts me down and hugs me. "MEGUMI DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN" she screams. I start to cry as I explain to her what just happened; she said that she thought I died, she used her powers to defend me because I was unconscious.

I realize her back was turning black, the source of the black stuff was from my hands. I quickly let go of Neko and tell her what happened to her back. I touch my school bag and it turns black; soon it vanished into thin air. My gloves probably fell off when I bumped into Hugo.

I used my healing powers to heal Neko's back, it worked. "Wizards and witches entered the school and killed nearly everyone, I hid in the music class with Hugo and John until I saw you. I came out of the classroom and thought you were dead but you were still breathing." Said Neko, I was very lucky to have survived, maybe if they invade the school again I won't be so lucky.

I didn't see anyone around except for Neko, Hugo and John appeared from around the corner ( Hugo also holds a light stone and John holds a water stone) . We all walked out of the school building to be greeted by such a horrifying scene. Thousands of bodies were laid on top of each other, all dead. I noticed I wasn't wearing shoes and as I walked the ground turned black killing any grass or plants under my feet. I start to scream louder and louder, I faint.

I woke up in a dark room; purple lights turned on and I was greeted by a witch. She introduced herself as the witch of darkness, she claims to be my real mom. I remember her like it was yesterday, I missed her but the things she's doing is wrong.  Little people know that I was adopted; some commoners found me on their doorstep so they decided to raise me. The witch was name is Misha, Misha the witch of darkness.

"My dear MEGUMI, how nice it is to meet you after all these years", she walks closer to me a knife in her hand. "You know it's not nice to ignore your mother...I was keeping you safe in the village until you discovered your true powers,I sent my guards to kill you but they were unsuccessful so I went there myself and kidnapped you. Your friends are probably all dead by now so don't try and call them. After all these years I bet you still don't know who I am.(whispering) I am the one who killed your sister...and now I'm here to kill you." she holds her knife up about to strike, I start to scream saying "WHY, WHY DID YOU DO IT, SHE WAS ALSO YOUR DAUGHTER!"; tears starting pouring out of my eyes when Neko,half bloody, comes in from behind and stabs her. I get up and run towards Neko, I grab her hand with my shirt and get out of there. "I will return and I killed her because she was too much of a threat. She was stronger than me so I ended her life right after the incident" says Misha. She covers her body with her cloak and then she disappears.

We're outside and I see Hugo and John injured. I run up to Hugo and Hug him without my hands touching him. "We need to get out of here" he says; we are in the witches state, it's a very dangerous place to be in." "We need to do something, come on Follow me." I say and I summon a dragon, we all fly away.

John gives me a pair of Latex gloves, I put them on. Neko is flying the dragon even though she's hurt. I put my hand on her shoulder and tell her it's going to be okay. I conjure a clear sphere around us that heals the ones that are injured.

I look around as we're flying and every village and city has been burnt down. The wizards and witches have destroyed them all. We land next to a hollow oak tree. We all go in and prepare to put on armor  and get weapons ready to fight.

We trained for days and now it's time.
