Sergio glared at Olalla making herself comfortable on Fernando’s bed, he couldn’t believe that she had turned up like that; he glanced at his friend who was hugging his children.

Sergio knew that Olalla was using Nora and Leo to get close to her ex-husband again, they were the only reason that Fernando had allowed Olalla into his hotel room; the children looked dead on their feet as if they hadn’t been allowed to sleep.

“Don’t you have somewhere to be?” Olalla asked looking at Sergio, she wanted him to leave so that she could be alone with Fernando; a lot had happened in the past few months and she wanted to her ex-husband to herself for a while.

Fernando glanced at her holding his daughter and son close to them, he didn’t know what Olalla was playing at by coming to his hotel like this; he didn’t want a repeat of what had happened when he’d been away playing in the 2012 Euros.

“No,” Sergio replied with a smug smile, he wouldn’t leave his married best friend allow with his ex-wife; he could only imagine how upset Cassidy would be since it was no secret how much the brunette disliked Olalla.

Fernando looked at him gratefully as Sergio nodded at him, he didn’t know why his ex-wife was here and he didn’t want to be alone with her.

Juan had spotted him allowing her into his hotel room with the children and he knew that the other Spaniard would rat him out to Cassidy if he was left alone with his ex-wife.

Olalla huffed annoyed pursing her lips, she hadn’t been pleased when she had been told that Fernando was remarrying; she had always hoped deep down if things didn’t work out with George then she’d be able to have her ex-husband back.

“Why are you here Olalla? Where’s George and Georgie?” Fernando asked moving to settle first Nora then Leo on his bed, the two were exhausted and he didn’t know what Olalla was playing at bring them to see him like that.

Olalla watched him with their children, she had made the worst mistake in the world when she had divorced him; it was the reason she had refused to allow Nora and Leo to attend his wedding to Cassidy until the brunette had paid her off.

“Georgie is with my parents in Santiago de Compostela. George and I aren’t together anymore,” Olalla explained making Sergio frown, he didn’t know what she was playing at but he wasn’t going to allow her to hurt his friend or Cassidy.

Olalla had done enough damage when she had cheated on Fernando, she had very nearly destroyed his career by forcing him to move to London just so she could be closer to her fancy man.

Fernando looked at his ex-wife, he didn’t know why she had come to him if she had broken up with her boyfriend; he didn’t even feel sorry for her after all she had put him through.

Fernando barely had a chance to walk into breakfast the next morning when Juan confronted him, he had known the younger man would do so since there were some lingering feelings for Cassidy in Juan even if he was trying to forget about it.

“Why is Olalla here?” Juan demanded, he glared at Fernando wondering why he would mess around with his ex-wife when he had Cassidy; he couldn’t believe that his friend was risking things with his wife for Olalla.

Juan was trying to be a good friend to Fernando again, he still had trouble letting go of his feelings for Cassidy but he understood that she would only ever see him as a friend.

“I don’t know,” Fernando replied honestly, he knew that Juan was worrying for his wife and he was a little annoyed that the smaller man was jumping to conclusions; he didn’t want Olalla here and he wished she hadn’t come especially after her break-up, he was however pleased to see his eldest two children.

Juan frowned looking at Fernando unbelievingly, he hadn’t really spoken to Cassidy since what had happened between them but he didn’t want to be the one to tell her what Fernando was doing.

“He’s serious Juan… he doesn’t know why Olalla turned up,” Sergio said glaring at the younger man, he knew that Juan would be protective of Cassidy but he wasn’t about to allow him to have a go at Fernando for something that he hadn’t done.

Juan blinked opening his mouth, he had been so sure that he had been right; he didn’t like the idea of Cassidy being hurt.

“I’ve already told Cass,” Fernando said answering the unasked question, he had phone his wife knowing that there was no way that Olalla’s presence had gone un-noticed.

Vicente had been far from pleased to hear that she was here since spouses and children weren’t allowed to come until the next stage of the tournament.

“Oh siento,” Juan muttered, he was a little surprised himself about how protective he had felt when he had seen Olalla; he didn’t want Cassidy getting hurt even if she had chosen Fernando over him, he wanted her to be happy.

Fernando waved him off, he knew that he could trust Juan to keep him in line, even if he didn’t trust the man around his wife completely; he was the reminder that there was someone waiting for him to mess up with Cassidy.

Cassidy sighed starting to pack for her trip to Brazil, she had been a little nervous about flying out alone with the twins until she learnt that her sister was flying out to see her boyfriend of five weeks.

Cassidy had been surprised to hear that her sister was dating David Luiz, she had known they had become close when she had been preparing to marry Fernando but she hadn’t known that they were dating.

Cassidy’s thoughts turned to Olalla, she didn’t know what the other woman was playing at but it made her feel nervous that she had turned up like that in Brazil.

Cassidy had known that Olalla was going to cause trouble once she had married Fernando, she had made it very clear when she demanded four thousand pounds for Nora and Leo’s attendance at their wedding.

Pomo and Llanta looked at her as she continued to pack, her parents had promised to look after them while Cassidy was away with the twins.

Cassidy wanted to be with her husband, she didn’t like the idea of his ex-wife being anywhere near him especially when she was single.

"Okay, the flights booked, I have the tickets, the twins are packed, I’m packed,” Cassidy said listing everything that needed to be done, she was going to be flying out in a couple of days and she didn’t want to leave anything until the last moment.

Fernando still had no idea that she was pregnant and Cassidy had already checked with her doctor that she was okay to fly out; the brunette just had to make sure that she drank enough water and do some gentle exercises.

The doctor had made it clear that she had to look after herself on the trip, she was still in the very early stages of pregnancy and while it was safe for her to travel since she was perfectly healthy there was still a high chance of miscarriage.
