Cassidy yawned rolling over to find Fernando missing, she sighed knowing that her fiancé was a little upset that she hadn’t warmed to the idea of eloping but he understood why she didn’t want to rush this.

Cassidy sighed climbing out of bed and quickly set about getting ready for her day, she hoped that everything was going to be okay after this; she knew what she wanted a proper wedding and she wasn’t going to change her mind about this.

Cassidy dressed and headed to check on the twins, she was excited about her wedding and while she could understand where Fernando was coming from about eloping; she didn’t see why they should, they didn’t have any reason to hide away.

Pomo followed after Cassidy as she checked to see that the twins were still sound asleep, she knew that Fernando wouldn’t be upset for long; she was already planning a way to make it up to him after saying no to eloping.

Cassidy nibbled on her lip as she thought about her relationship with the footballer, it had never been simple for them and only recently had things started to settle down for them and she only hoped that everything would stay that way.

However there was a dark feeling that bubbled inside of her that told her that it wouldn’t, she knew that someone was going to cause them trouble; whether it was Juan or Olalla she didn’t know but she could sense that something was going to go wrong in their future.

“So what do you want doing?” the hair dresser asked looking at Fernando through the mirror, the footballer had his hair down in a number of ways and he needed something that would make him look older.

Fernando sighed running a hand through his long brown hair, he couldn’t keep it like this anymore and he didn’t want to cut it like he did for the 2010 world cup since he had looked like a child; he swallowed wondering what he should do.

“Shave it all off,” Fernando said coming to a decision, he glanced at the hair dresser who seemed surprised at what the footballer had said before he nodded his head making the Spaniard took a deep breath; he knew that by doing this it would show off his natural hair colour and he didn’t mind.

“If you are sure?” the hair dresser said carefully hesitantly moving to shave off all of Fernando’s hair, the footballer only nodded his head as he watched the hair dresser in the mirror.

Fernando could only watch as the hair dresser slowly set about cutting away and shaving off the long brown hair that he’d had for a couple of months now; Fernando knew that this was a little drastic but he had yet to find a look that suited him now that he was a father of four and about to be married for the second time.

Fernando closed his eyes as he allowed the hair dresser to get to work, his thoughts focusing on the fact that Cassidy hadn’t wanted to elope; he sighed knowing that she was right and what was a couple more months waiting after everything that they had been through.

Fernando smiled to himself as he remembered that their second anniversary was coming up soon as well as the twins first birthday; he couldn’t believe that they had only been together for two years nearly when it felt like he had known Cassidy all of his life.

“Okay Mr Torres,” the hair dresser said making Fernando open his eyes and look at himself in the mirror, his long brown locks were gone replaced with a shorter ginger style; he chuckled surprised that his roots had gotten darker in colour since he had last seen them, he had been a little ginger before he had started dying it.

Fernando cleared his throat as he carefully moved to touch what was left of his hair, he knew that Olalla had never been fond of his real hair colour since she had worried that Nora and Leo would end up with it but he had missed looking like this.

Cassidy was making dinner when Fernando came home, he smiled as he heard the brunette singing softly to herself as he leant against the entrance way to their kitchen as he watched her.

Fernando couldn’t keep the smile from his face as he thought about how lucky he was to have her, he had been through so much since he had moved to Chelsea and Cassidy had always been at his side supporting him no matter what was happening in his career.

Fernando moved forward and wrapped his arms around her waist before he kissed her neck, he felt her jump slightly when he touched her then she relaxed as he chuckled.

“How was your hair cut?” Cassidy asked checking on the pasta for dinner, she was a little surprised about how much of a good mood that the footballer had returned in since he had left without a word this morning.

Cassidy turned around and looked at her fiancé a little surprised that he had gone extremely short with his hair, she had never seen it this short before and she was a little taken back by the colour.

“Do you like it?” Fernando asked nervously as he watched the brunette’s face as he wondered if she was okay with what he had done, he knew it was a little drastic but he actually like it like this; he looked older but not too old.

Cassidy opened her mouth as she took in Fernando’s new look, she was so used to having long hair that this was a shock for her.

“I like it,” Cassidy murmured reaching up and touch the ginger hair that sat up on top of her fiancé’s head, she furrowed her brow in thought as she realised that none of Fernando’s children had gotten his hair colour.

“Are you sure?” Fernando chuckled taking her hands and kissed both of them, he knew that she was slightly shocked that he had gone through with this without a warning but he didn’t mind.

Cassidy nodded her head as she moved closer to her fiancé and kissed his lips softly, they were getting married in five months and she knew that the wait would be worth it; she had stood by him for nearly two years and everything had worked out so far.

“I’m not mad you know,” Fernando said cupping Cassidy’s face, his brown eyes locked with hers knowing how lucky he was; she was everything to him and he wasn’t sure that he would have been able to cope with everything that had happened in his life if it wasn’t for Cassidy.

Cassidy tilted her head as the footballer pressed another kiss to her lips before he realised her so that she could check on the pasta for dinner; he watched her as a smile played on his face knowing that he could never regret choosing her.

“You’re not?” Cassidy asked cautiously glancing at him, she wondered what had calmed him down as he moved to check on the twins that were playing in their play pen; she knew that something had to have changed for him to calm down about not eloping.

“No… so what if I have to wait five months for our wedding, you are worth the wait,” Fernando said with a smile, he would wait for her forever if he had to as long as he would get her as his wife; she was worth the wait and more for him.
