Cassidy sighed as she stared at the morning newspaper, she felt angry that Mourinho was blasting her husband in the papers like this; she knew that Fernando should have asked for permission but he had done what was right.
Fernando was moving around the kitchen making her some breakfast, he wanted to help Cassidy in any way possible and they were now staying in their own home in Madrid.
Fernando had little interest in what the manager was saying, he was focusing on his pregnant wife and had done what he could to inform Mourinho about what was going on; however the Portuguese had no interest in the personal life of his player.
“When are you heading back to London?” Cassidy asked closing the newspaper and looked at Fernando as he pottered around the kitchen; she smiled watching him glad that he had snapped out of whatever hold Mourinho had on him, she loved this Fernando.
Fernando paused looking back at his wife, he hadn’t told her that Mourinho was demanding that he come back or he’d be benched for the rest of the season if he didn’t return soon.
“When you do come home?” Fernando replied knowing that he wouldn’t leave without her, he was still scared that she would just disappear again; he didn’t want to lose her and he knew that it was going to take some time to settle back down.
Cassidy rested a hand on her eighteen week bump, it was nearly the middle of October and the brunette had planned to stay for a few more weeks to make sure that she avoided stress.
“Scrambled eggs on toasted bagel with spread and a yoghurt drink,” Fernando announced carrying breakfast over to Cassidy, he loved cooking for her and he knew that she was going to be okay; he didn’t care if he was benched for the rest of the season.

Fernando smiled resting a hand on Cassidy’s bump under her top, he loved how she looked when she was pregnant and he couldn’t help but feel proud that it was his baby that she was carrying.
“Te amo,” Fernando whispered carefully brushing his fingers along the skin of his stomach, he didn’t know how he had gotten so lucky but he knew that this was just another step in completing his family.
Cassidy smiled at his words as she pressed a kiss to his lips, her fingers moving through his short brown hair knowing that she had missed him.
“I love you too,” Cassidy replied pulling back, she still had questions that needed to be answered about what he had told her a few nights before; she wanted to know what to expect when he left Chelsea.
Cassidy trailed her fingers carefully down Fernando’s neck, she was aware that when they moved that it wasn’t going to be easy; her husband had offers from Atlético Madrid and Liverpool and neither of them were going to be an easy move.
“Where will you go?” Cassidy asked softly watching her husband, her Spanish was limited and she knew that if they did move to Madrid then she was going to have learn more of the language.
Fernando tilted his head as he watched his wife, he knew what she was asking and didn’t need her to explain to him what she meant; he had done a lot of talking with his agent and he had made the best decision, not just for him but for his family.
“I think it’ll be Atlético Madrid, they still seem interested in having me,” Fernando said knowing that his former club would be a lot more understanding than his current one when it came to problems that he had with his family.
Chelsea just didn’t seem to understand that he needed to be with Cassidy, even if she did used to work at the club; they wanted him back in London when he was trying to support and care for his wife.
“It’ll be okay,” Fernando said ducking his head down slightly and kissed Cassidy, he didn’t want her worrying over details; he wanted her to focus on the baby and stay relaxed.
Fernando was determined to make sure that his transfer didn’t affect his family in anyway, he had spoken with his lawyer about sorting out a clearer custody agreement with Olalla and he knew that the twins would grow up well here with their baby brother.
“I was thinking that we start to slowly move out here once the transfer is settled, I want you and the twins settled before anything else,” Fernando said holding Cassidy close to him, he enjoyed cuddling with her and he had to admit that he had thought he would never get to do this again.
Fernando hadn’t told his wife anything about what he had done when she had left him, he wasn’t proud of himself and didn’t want to worry her; it wouldn’t be good for her or their baby.
Cassidy nodded her head watching Fernando, she nudged her head gently against his knowing that this would be okay; she would have his parents for support if they settled down in Madrid.

Watching his wife as she prepared for bed, Fernando knew that it wouldn’t be long until they would be parents again; their son was due in March nearly two weeks before his own birthday and their third anniversary.
“Nando?” Cassidy asked softly looking at her husband, she could see that he was thinking and it made her wonder what was on his mind; the day had flown by so quickly and Cassidy couldn’t help but feel exhausted.
Fernando nodded his head as he indicated that he had heard Cassidy, he took a deep breath knowing that his baby boy was going to be okay.
“What should we call him?” Fernando asked walking over to his wife and rested a hand on the bump again, he knew that there was still about five months left and she wasn’t even half way through her pregnancy.
However Fernando couldn’t wait for their son to be born, he knew it was going to be strange especially since they wouldn’t be living in London anymore; their first family home of twenty-one months would be sold on since they wouldn’t need it anymore.
“I don’t know,” Cassidy mused with a small smile, she rested a hand on top of Fernando’s as she looked up at him from her place sat on their bed; she laced their fingers knowing that they still had time to decide.
Fernando briefly nodded his head, his brown eyes boring into Cassidy’s; he couldn’t believe that they were here like this.
“We have lots of time to come up with a name,” Cassidy mused squeezing his hand gently knowing that they had twenty-two weeks to think of a name even if it didn’t seem that long.
Fernando swallowed knowing that she was right, however he couldn’t help but worry about their future; there were still a lot of decisions to be made and he wanted to make this as easy as possible on her and the twins.
Fernando wanted to protect his family and he knew there were going to be some fans that weren’t going to be happy with his decision to leave; they were the threat that he had to worry about.
