Among The Stars

I woke up in a lavender colored room, with mom looking down at me. Tears filled her eyes, and dripped down onto the floor. She looked at me and brushed my hair with her soft hands. "Why are you crying?" I asked her. "I tried...I tried...But no," She responded. "Mom, What do you mean?" I questioned, now concerned. "Ariel, You're not going to make it." She whispered. I glanced at her. "Mom? Is that true? Please tell me I'm dreaming!" I yelled. "I'm sorry," She responded. She kissed my forehead. The smell of her perfume wafted into my nose. Was this the last time I was going to smell that wonderful, sweet, smell? "Where's Ethan?" I asked. "That's the other news, He'll be coming in a second, let me go check..." She resonded, leaving the room. I heard rollin of wheels, then saw Ethan coming into the room. He wasn't the oe rolling the bed. He, was in the bed. "No..." I quietly said, watching. They rolled him next to me, Then said, "I'll leave you two alone." I looked at His bright blue eyes, and his slight smile. "What happened to you?" I asked. "My time came, Ariel Marie," He responded. "And I heard your's did too," He finished. "Yeah," I nodded. I reached for his hand, and grasped it. His soft hands. Suddenly we heard beeps. He looked at my heart monitor, and I looked at his. We nodded at the same time. "I love you, E. And I know we can continue our forever up there." I said. "I love you too, Ariel Marie Hunter, and I'll never stop loving you. Not when we become extinct, Not when the world ends. Forever." He said. The beeps slowed down. I watched him slowly shut his eyes, and I slowly shut mine. Beep. Beep. Beeeeeeeep. And we went Among The Stars. Forever.
