~Connor's P.O.V.~
(Earlier that day)
I walked in the school, and do what I usually do. I go see Charlie where we usually meet, and tell her that I met Alice. I really wanted her to meet her. I walk up to her and give her a smile making her smile.
"Hi", she said with joy
"Hey", I greeted back with a smile. I was soon in front of her.
"So how's your day so far?", I ask
"Fine",She responded
"I want you to meet someone I met", I say
"Who is it?", she asked with curiosity
"Do you know that girl Alice?", I ask, she then shows an annoyed facial expression
"What?", I ask
"Is she the one that dated the player?", she asked with annoyance
"Yup", I replied, while pulling her close to me
"I don't want to be part of the drama Connor", she said
"What drama?", I ask
"Haven't you heard the rumors?", she asked
"Not all rumors are necessarily true Charlie", I say hugging her
"But theirs a slight chance that they might be", she replied
"Ya'll could make good friends", I say, I look down and she laid her head on my chest
"Fine", she said
"If you really don't want to, you don't have too", I say
"No, i'm coming", She insisted. She looked up to meet my eyes.
"Thank you", I say while smiling she looks up and smiles back.
We both make our way to the library, but she still wasn't there. Charlie sat down in one of the tables.
"I'm gonna go look for a book", I say
I turn around, and make my way to the shelves. I look for a title that captures my attention. So I scan through the books.
"Don't judge a book by it's cover", I look to my side, and see Charlie with her arms crossed and a grin on her face. I turn to face her.
"Well, excuse me", I say with a smile, and wrap my arms around her hips, making her smile
"You don't even read the titles", she said pointing at the books
"I don't usually read books", I say, being honest
"Well you should", she responded, she got out of my arms, and grabbed a random book
"Did you meet this Alice girl?", she asked while scanning through the book
"We met at the mall", I answer, walking up next to her
"Is it true that she dated Jake?", she answered, while closing the book and getting another one
"She told me she did", I respond
I see Charlie hesitating, she lifted her head up from the book, and closed it.
"How can someone date a person like that", she responded
"Well, maybe you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover", I say with a grin
"Ha Ha very funny", she said sarcastically while turning away to place the book away
"What would you do if I acted like Jake?", I asked
"Ugh, your basically asking what would I do, if you were a jerk, rude,disgusting, doltish-", I cut her off
"Okay, okay I get it", I say
"I would have dumped you", She said. I just chuckled at her response.
"Then how am I?", I ask with a smile. She puts her book down and looks up to face me.
"Well, your extremely nice and caring", she said with a smile
"Keep going", I say while pulling her close to me
"And smart, and very cocky, which I love", she said, making me smile. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders and continued.
"Am I?", I ask with a smile
"Yes", she giggles
"Your also handsome", she said leaning close to me, teasing me.
"God, I love you", I say with a smile
"I love you too", She replied
I then planted a small kiss on her lips
"This is a library, not your house", The teacher then yells
We both pull away smiling.
"Sorry", Charlie shouted back
"Your such a goodie two shoes", I whisper, she then turns around to face me
"So are you", she whispered back
Charlie takes out her phone, and glances at it.
"We only have about a minute left", she said while walking back to the table where she left her backpack, and I follow her. After a couple of seconds the bell rung.
"See ya later", she said while turning around
"Love you", I say while pulling her close to me
"Love you too dork", she said and pecks me on the lips, and leaves
I head to my first class, and took notes and do the usual. The bell soon rung meaning that class ended. Time passes surprisingly fast. I get up, and swing my backpack on my back. I go out in the hallways, and see Charlie waiting there for me. We walk each other too class, but only in 1st and 2nd period. Usually because are classroom are close.
I give her a quick hug , and walk her to her 2nd period, together. We had small talk and we finally arrived to her class, I steal a quick kiss on the lips, and leave to go to my class.
"Love you", I hear her shout, making me smile
"Me too", I shout back with a smile
I walk in my class, and do what I do in any other class. Take notes, mess around a bit, and class ends. I walk out, but don't see Charlie out yet. So I lean against the door waiting for her. I see Jake walk down the hallway and a girl walks up to her. I didn't hear the conversation they were having, but she did not seem happy. Jake didn't turn around to face her. Usual Jake I assume. I was thinking the girl was Jake's. So I turn back around, and wait for Charlie. She came out and gave me a hug. We start heading to our next class. I began to heard shouting. Charlie and I both turn around, and Jake and that girl were having an argument. A loud one.
"Is she his new girlfriend", Charlie says with disgust
"You really don't like this guy huh?", I say slighlty turning to face her, and I notice Charlie gasp. I turn back around to see the argument.
All I saw was that girl getting pushed up against the wall.
Very hard.
