Episode One: What Happened

The bright morning light shone through the opening of Mallory's curtains causing her eyes to flutter open. She reached over to grab her phone from her nightstand, and checked the time. 12:20. She noticed a couple a couple of messages from her mother saying that she was in a meeting with her coach, and some saying not to forget to pack. She sighed and shut off her phone. She swung her legs over her bed and got up an began packing

She arrived at the school entrance. She hung out near the buses, waiting for her parents to show up. She looked up as she noticed someone's shoes. She smiled as she met her mother's and father's eyes. "You'll be home faster than you know it kiddo." Her father said trying to lighten up her mood. "I know, I just wish I didn't have to miss my tournaments-" she said looking away from her father then to her mother. "What did Coach say?" "He said as long as you make it back for the last one you're still on the team." Mallory let out a breathe she hadn't realized she had been holding "Thank God."

"Well honey, we should get going. Be safe." Her parents wrapped their arms around her, her doing the same "We love you." "I love you guys too." They turned and walked away. Mallory stood there with her bag in her hands. She tensed as she felt a shoulder bump into hers. She turned to see who it was. Her face lit up "Grizz." He swung he arm over her shoulder "How's my favorite Archer?" He asked, she sighed "Bummed that I won't be making it to my tournament." She said sadly

Grizz smirked to himself knowing how to make her happy "You know, i heard some or the girls saying that they found you attractive." Mallory chuckled at his attempt to make her smile. "You really know how to make a girls day Grizz." She said smirking "I try my best." Mallory turned as she saw her peers getting on the buses "Look's like we should get going." Grizz nodded "I call window seat."

The two made their way onto the bus. Mallory huffed as she sat down. Her peers started waving to their parents as the buses took off. Grizz looked over at Mallory "See any hot chicks?" Mallory looked at a few girls "A couple-" she turned and looked at him "What about you, any hot guys?" She whispered "Maybe one." He said smiling "Tell me about him when I wake up." She said leaning her head on his shoulder

Mallory woke up as Grizz nudged her. She looked up to the front as the bus driver spoke "Change of plans. Rock slides, the road is closed. You're back home." Mallory glanced at some of her peers who were just as confused as she was. Mallory hopped off the bus and looked around for her parents, but she didn't see them. She didn't see anyone's parent's. "Well, doesn't look like anyone was expecting us." Mallory turned around as she saw the buses take off
