Episode Two: Our town
↡ ↡ ↡For ten days now, we've locked ourselves in our houses... and cried ourselves to sleep. Asked "What is this place that looks like home?" And "Why are we here?" What we know for certain is that the sun came up not too long ago, at 5:41 a.m. Which is how it should be, heading towards the summer solstice. But at the train station, the 7:10 to New York never arrived. Neither did the 7:25. No trains arrived yesterday. Or the day before. Or the day before that. Some people believed that we would wake up from this, and the dream would be over, and that everything would, again, be like it was before. Ten days is a long time to believe that. But the sun just keeps coming up... everyday, and you can't cry forever. You have to put your shoes on, you have to eat, you have to have hope. Don't you? Because who knows? Maybe tomorrow

Mallory walked up to the football field. She saw the boys laying down on the field. "Y'all look depressed." She said walking up to the group "Sup Mal." Grizz said. They fell silent. "Hey. Hey guys-" Jason said standing up "Saint Anselms, come on Saint Anselms, remember?" Jason questioned. Luke lifted his beer from where he was laying "Saint Anselms." "The greatest-" "I remember." Clark said. Jason walked up to him and grabbed his hand, pulling him up "Get up. Get up!" Clarke groaned "No man, come on." Grizz said. Jason pulled him up anyways "I'll do it yeah fine."
"The greatest-" he picked up Luke who sighed "- come back in history of ever." He put the football to Lukes chest "That's right." Luke said drinking his beer "Line up. Mal you too." Mallory shrugged her shoulders "Ah, what the heck." Everyone walked towards the middle "Down six, last play of the game." Luke said "I got you. Line up!" Clark said "Line up on the left." Luke said. "Down! Set, hut!" Clark passes the ball to Luke under his legs. Mallory took off running with the rest of the gang, pretending to tackle players. "Oh, just past the reach. Cut, cut, cut! Cut? He's got wicked speed! He goes to the corner!" Luke jumps to the touch down area cheering along with the rest of them
She sat down next to Grizz "Come one, get up. This is serious, guys-" Jason said lifting Clark up. Luke groaned "Twenty-four, twenty-three. The score that will never be forgotten. Champions. We are champions and nothing can take that away, ever. Come on-" he said lifting Grizz and Mallory up "Take us out." "All right. All right-" Grizz said lifting his right hand up, causing everyone else too "- Centurions on three, ready? Centurions on me! Centurions on three! One, two, three!"
"Centurions!" They all shouted in unison✧
Mallory walked in the church, ignoring Cassandra stare as she was walking out. She stood next to the rest of the boys while Helena spoke "Getting drunk, and, I don't know, breaking things, it might make us feel good in the moment, but in the long run? It's making us feel worse."
