Mallory squinted her eyes as the sunlight poured into her room through her curtains. She looked to her side; Allie was gone. Her phone rang causing her to reach over. "Hey, Grizz, what's up?" "It's Cassandra, they found her, and she's dead." Her mouth fell open slightly. "Mal?" Mallory blinked her tears away "Um, I'll be there, just give me a minute." She hung up her phone and stared at the wall.

She stood next to Grizz, holding a shovel with one hand, and her phone in the other. "Guys it's all uneven. Grizz, Mal." Mallory put her phone in her pocket and jumped in the hole. "We gotta smooth out the sides, guys." Grizz said getting in after her. It's Cassandra. Clark groaned. "How hard is it to dig a hole." He said after climbing out. "I don't know." Mallory said. "I don't want to get good at it." Grizz said glancing at Mallory, who was being extremely quiet and had only spoke that one time.

Mallory walked into the church with the boys. She looked down the aisle and saw the white sheet. Her walk faltered slightly. They found her. Her first love was dead, and she wasn't coming back. Grizz put his arm around Mallory as he noticed her slow down. She slid into the seat next to Grizz an laid her head on his shoulder, ignoring the arguing between Harry, Campbell, and Will.

Allie stood up and walked to the stand. The talking stopped but the occasional sniffle, and sob would be heard among the silence. Allie stood for a second before glancing at everyone in the room. "My sister, Cassandra, was a good person" she said. Dead. Mallory agreed with that. She was to good for the world. "She was captain of the debate team. You didn't want to argue with her."

Mallory lowered her head as a tear fell from her eye. "Who did this? Huh? Who shot my sister?" Allie asked her voice cracking slightly. Mallory felt her pain, Cassandra wasn't her sister, but even after they broke up she still loved her and cared for her dearly. "Why did you do that? We needed her! I needed her!" Mallory stood up with Grizz, and the guard.

They walked to the front of the church and lifted her body. Mallory kept her head low, avoiding any eye contact. As they walked down the aisle, people raised  from their seats, and followed. They gently laid her in the hole. Mallory leaned into Grizz. "Eternal rest grant her. O lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace." Elena finished

"Amen." Everyone chorused. Allie grabbed some dirt from the floor and sprinkled it onto the white sheet that was wrapped around her body. She's dead.
