Song for this chapter:

Would that I - Hozier

"I was fixed on your hand of gold"

"Here we are my dear friends" Sam says peering out the window at the coast line.

"Only 2 hours later then we thought we'd be." Harrison laughs.

"Well we're here now so shh" Tom says from next to me. Everyone unbuckles their seatbelts and jumps out the car and looking around at the open plains of land in front of us.

"This is beautiful" Harry says with a grin on hiss face.

"I second that" I say looking off into the vast green grass flowing in the wind.

"I want to get some shots before the sun sets, is that fine with you guys?" Harry asks.

"Yeah that's fine, we can all go check in and out or bags in our rooms first. Then we can all go down to the beach." Tom says with obvious amazement in his voice.

"Sounds good to me" Sam says in reply.

"Yeah, sounds good" Harrison agrees.

We grab all our bags, shoving things under our arms and carrying things in our mouths trying to haul everything into the lobby. The woman at the front desk looked like she'd probably lived out here forever, not in a bad way. As she spun round to greet us her grey hair bounced atop her head.

"Hello my lovelies!" she chants, "How are we all today?". Without giving us time to answer her, she continues to talk. "That's great, do you have a booking?" She questions with a sweet grin.

"Yeah, it should be under Holland." Sam says from behind me, poking his head in between Tom and I.

"Ah yes, here it is. A room for 4." She says, I shoot a nervous look at Tom when she replies.

"Um did you say 4?" I ask

"Yes siree I did love." She says typing away at her computer. I turn around and look at Harry, since he was the one who booked the hotel, and  glare at him. He just shrugs his shoulders and begins to talk again.

"Thank you so much" grabbing the keys from the woman. The walk to our house/dorm thing was not that long, but it was still quite far away from everyone. We had a little cottage house to ourselves, with 2 bedrooms and the couch. The cedar wood creaked every time someone stepped on it, not to mention the smell of old people.

"Well this is quaint" Harrison says.

"It's something..." Harry says back, looking at the dust covered support beams above our heads.

"Alright but I dibs a bed." Sam says.

"I'm with Sam" Harrison yells, sprinting past me into one of the rooms.

"I got the other bed." Tom says, dropping all the things in his hands and flopping onto the bed in the other room. At this point I know it's a race between Harry and I to claim the last place in a bed. I look him in the eyes and drop everything, running to the bed as fast as I can. I reach the door and launch myself on top of Tom. I roll over to see Harry's sour face in the doorway.

"Shame, I guess you got the couch" I laugh at him, Tom gives a little chuckle and tries to hide it by covering his mouth. Harry hastily leaves the room and I turn back to Tom, who's laying beside me.

"Well I guess it's us together again" he says with a smile.

"I guess so." I smile back.

"I don't know about everyone else but I'm ready to see the sun set." Sam calls from the other room.

"Myself as well" Harry says, swinging his camera around his neck.

"Alright! Let's get a move on then" Harrison says.

"Just give us a quick minute guys. You can head out, we'll be there in a minute." Tom shouts to them from beside me, I look at him confused but don't say anything.

"Alright mate, make sure you don't miss the sunset" Harrison calls back. Shortly after the door closes and Tom turns back to face me.

"Look I just wanted to say I don't want to make you uncomfortable in anyway so if you don't want to sleep in the same bed as me that's fine. I can take the floor if you want." He says looking into my eyes.

"Tom, don't be silly. It's not like we haven't slept in the same bed before? We're adults, I think we can deal with it." I say back with a reassuring smile.

"Okay," he smiles. " I just didn't want to make you unhappy" his smile turns into that cute little thing he does when he squishes his lips together.

"Thank you Tom" I grab his hand a hold it.

"Jesus Maisie you're freezing!" He exclaims, rubbing his warm hands over mine.

"Here" he says, pulling his horror over his head and slipping it over mine. The warmth from his body heat smothering me in a cocoon, I shoot him a smile and wipe some of my hair behind my ear with the extra length of my sleeve.

"Let's get going then. Shall we?" He says holding out his hand.

"We shall".
