I don't believe in love.
I believe in chemicals,
the chemicals that rear their
ugly heads when you meet someone new
but then lay still on their own whim.
I believe love is for fools
who wish to fill the hole in their life with companionship
just so they're not alone when they die,
but in the end we're all alone
whether you die with said lovers' hand in you own or not
When you close your eyes for the last time and greet that beautiful darkness
no one will be there,
so why even bother?
