Hey, everyone! Thank you for reading Blade: Dusk. This one was shorter than the other ones, but it was probably the most time-consuming. I'm writing this note during the last week of school, and I'm excited to start on my next book, Blade: Midnight, at the end of the week. The reason I killed off more characters than usual was because I had intended for this part of Blade to tell the tale of the bloodiest period of the war, and the stories of the people fighting in it, how they're affected by it, and what they were willing to sacrifice to win their freedom from the people who would see them on their knees. I always say that "Blade" is meant as an allegory to the American Revolution, but I think that applies more in Dusk than the other parts of this series. Anyway, thank you for reading up to this point. I'll start on Blade: Midnight eventually. As soon as school's out, that is.
