The weekend began on a very bad note. On Friday I had an episode at school people got bored with the ignoring me move and began picking on me to my face again. Eventually, a guy from my gym class pushed me into the wall and I ended up coughing up some blood, Kacchan got very very angry at the guys who were picking on me, I think I saw fear in their eyes at Kacchan's anger. I was taken to the nurse and then sent home, mom had to come home early from work and I felt guilty.

I'm doing better now though and I listened to my mom and let myself relax, I'm usually fine a few hours after an episode and it's Saturday now but my mom was really worried so to help her feel a little better I've basically been on the couch since I came home. I had some really comfy pajamas on and had piled blankets over my body. I had my favorite stuffed animal, a blue bear with a red heart, with me too! My phone was leaning against the bear as I watched All Might videos on it.

Kacchan was going to come pick me up soon, we were going to go get ice cream together, we always tried to go somewhere together every weekend since we rarely hang out outside of school, especially now since we've been preparing for exams. We used to always hang out after school but once we got to middle school it got a lot harder as classes got a lot harder. I could tell that Kacchan, under his anger on Friday, was just scared for me. When Kacchan is worried he either becomes weirdly quiet or extremely angry, but he also becomes nicer to the person he's worried about. I mean, I've always been able to tell that Kacchan was meaner to everybody else and nice to me but I think it's just because we've been friends for so long now.

Well, I should get dressed since he should be heading over soon. I made sure mom wasn't in the room, I didn't want her to try and help me, she did that when I got hurt and it made me feel a little useless. I know my mom always mean well but it kind of sucks sometimes when I'm not allowed to do the things I for sure can do. I got up and folded the blankets so mom wouldn't have to later but I didn't remember where mom kept them so I left the folded blankets on the couch and grabbed my bear.

I went to my room and found one of my All Might shirts, it was gray and had black print of his name with a picture of him on it. I just put pants on and my awesome red boots before sitting on my bed and waiting for Kacchan to either text me or ring my doorbell. I resumed watching All Might videos and set my bear back on the shelf I keep things personal I wanted to keep safe. All Might was a lot more active recently, I wonder why?

About half an hour later the doorbell rang and I jumped up, grabbing my jacket and heading down the stairs, it had to be Kacchan! When I got downstairs mom had already opened the door and was talking to Kacchan about something, I wasn't really paying attention. I heard Kacchan ask, "Is Deku here?" I realized then that he couldn't see me and tried not to giggle. I gave my choker another check, my mom had drilled into me to check it before I left since I was little so now I just did it without thinking.

"Yes, he is," Mom looked inside to maybe yell my name to come to the door but then she saw me and smiled, "Izuku, Katsuki is here." She said as I pulled my jacket on, it was really windy outside today and I got cold easily so I wanted one.

I went to the door when I was ready and my mom said goodbye, heading inside as I closed the door behind me, "Dumbass Deku being slow..." Kacchan mumbled, obviously still a little uncomfortable by how familiar my mom was with him, Kacchan was also never mean to my mom so I think he might just not know how to act with her, "Come on let's go, shitty nerd."

"Coming, coming," I said, wanting to laugh but also not wanting to because Kacchan would yell at me. We waited a moment and then began our walk towards the Baskin Robbins near our houses, I wanted a waffle cone! Kacchan usually paid for our days out though, mostly because we're both too young to work and Kacchan had an allowance while I didn't; It's because Kacchan's parents work and can afford to give him money but my mom can't and that's okay I don't mind and neither does Kacchan.
