"He does something to me, that boy. Every time. It's his only detriment. He steps on my heart. He makes me cry." - Markus Zusak

"No Aphrodite, I'm not seducing a man into giving me a job," Hera said for the hundredth time, rolling her eyes at her daughter-in-law, if she wanted a job, she would get it on her own merit, not because she has a well-endowed chest.
"Fine, I still don't understand why you wish to get a job, your husband is the king of all things divine, why do you even need a job, you have money," Aphrodite asked, looking confused at the Queen's strange wishes.
"I want a job because its something I wish to do, business always seemed interesting to me and I have quite the experience at it, managing Zeus's business empire in the mortal world, I want to be away from the constraints of being the wife of Zeus and be my own person. Is that so wrong?" Hera asked Aphrodite, who looked quite shocked at the Queen's answer.
For all of eternity, Hera had always been behind Zeus, helping him with everything, how to be a good king, a good father, and how to manage human affairs, it was her pleasure at first, to stand by her King husband's side and help him throughout his day, but after thousands of years, it's just become a chore, and it's not even helping him, it's her doing all of his work. For once, she's going to leave it to him, let him manage everything. He's the almighty King of the Gods, The God of thunder, law, and justice, he should know how to manage it.
With a strong resolve, Hera looked at herself in the mirror once more, satisfied at her appearance, she walked out of her penthouse with her binder in hand, not before saying goodbye to Aphrodite of course.
Adair Group of Companies, that was the company Hera had applied to, for the position of PA for the CEO, she was far overqualified for the job, it was true, but it should be interesting and fun to do, especially without the constant reminder of Zeus.
Taking a deep breath, The Queen of the whole world stared at the huge, glowing, AGC sign on the top of the building, people kept walking near her as she slowly strode into the building. She didn't understand why she was afraid, it was just an interview, to work in a mortal business that too, signing at her unnecessary distress, she walked to the reception, heels clicking on the marble floor. At the reception sat a young woman, gold of hair, forest green eyes, and a sweet smile plastered on her face.
"Hello ma'am, welcome to Adair Group of Companies, what can I do for you this morning?" The receptionist asked Hera with a rehearsed smile.
"I actually have a job interview, for the position of PA for the CEO of this company" Hera replied, smiling back at the younger woman.
"May I have your name please?"
"Daria Ca'sius"
After waiting for 5 minutes as the receptionist called someone else and verified the job interview, Hera was sent off to level 28 of the building.
The elevator music was calming, as she stood and listened to the classical music piece, within minutes, she reached level 28, where she met the secretary
"Greetings Ms.Ca'sius, I'll cut the small talk if you don't mind as we have quite the work to do." Miss secretary's eyes looked up for a second to look at Hera's reaction and was a tad bit shocked at the calm composure of the woman as she nodded back.
