Mid afternoon sun peeked through Clairia's windows as she managed to open her eyes. She sat up in her bed,but how did she get here? Her feet flattened on the floor as she bolted toward her bathroom and took a quick shower. In the mirror she stared at her tribal markings on her skin. They were everywhere except her face and neck. Her hair had purple tips which had a fluorescent tinge. She shook it off and stepped in the shower moaning when the water hit her skin. While the water flowed down her spine she let her magic slip out her body and turn her shower into a rainstorm in a fluorescent forest. The smell of honeysuckle and morning dew flew into her nose delighting her senses. When she ended her shower she walked back to her room and slipped on a pair of yoga pants and black shirt to match. The moment the door opened however, the happiness faded. The feeling of dread lingered in her house like thick clouds and the permeated the walls with misery. Time for a sage and working out in the garden today.

The heavy air greeted her as she lashed her lilac at the negative energy turning it neutral. She then walked over to the window and begun her cleansing of the house and all the rooms so she could work in peace."Everybody out to the garden"Cairia said as she snapped her fingers down the hallway. There were stacks of folders on the lawn along with her companions as they looked at each other as to what just happened. She pointed her fingers to the door and locked it with a swift click. Sage filled the air as she lit it and began her cleansing every room and object in it. She then redid her protection seals and even cleansed Locke's body. Her mind focused on combating the negativity and learning more spells to make herself stronger. The house sighed as if releasing a long awaited breath it had been holding. Her home was alive just like she was and treated it like a person. Clairia then walked out to the garden with the others who were hard at work studying how to reattach Locke's soul back to his body. She faced the lavender flowers in a trance of a smile. She loved this plant and it had a new imprint on her garden.

Her awakening gave her a new perspective on life and all its creatures. This was nothing anyone else knew unless they experienced it.The world was new to her again with every color and sound experienced. She was a new person in a new world that reeked of sadness and cruelty along with hope and beauty. The opposites balanced themselves in her senses as she stared at the folder in front of her, reach to see who had the vial containing Locke's soul. He will be a valuable alley in this fight because he has information on her lair and portals she uses. Clairia had to figure out who she could trust and who she couldn't  with any information she got from here on out. The witch doesn't need to die but needs to be set free or she will just come back, the awakening told her as much. This was going to be a difficult task of course because of the sheer amount of hatred she carried toward that witch. She had the mixed feeling of empathy and rage. Her mind hadn't decided between the two emotions yet.

Her mind shook off the thought of failure when it appeared in her mind. Clairia had to make sure that she won or hatred would prevail for this world. It made her think of the people she fought so hard to protect but would they except her for what she became? The part that made her the same as the rest of her town she gave up in order to protect them from the threat that could destroy the peace that this place had. This was the very reason she came to such a remote place to escape persecution from what humanity could not except. Her mind swirled and screamed with memories from being driven from places that she once called home when her magic appeared in bursts. This power was part of her and the only part left from a mother she once loved and a sister she lost as a result of her actions. She blamed herself for their deaths when her powers first appeared young. Clairia could still see them smiling in her mind and although she should hate the people who took her family from her, she understood the fear she they felt from her actions.

The hunters had accepted her as one of their own when she lost control while facing off against a wendigo that killed a childhood friend and the hunter who drove it into town.Since then she had a family and a place she belonged. This meant more to her than any wealth offered to her or any favors she could gain for using her powers for selfish desires of greedy people. The rule with her power was to use it to protect humans from supernatural beings even though she was half of one. Jeckle had noticed Clairia's silence and her facial expression "Hey focus. You don't have time for self reflection."He spoke through her haze."I need to know my enemy better then this and maybe find a weakness that I can use but in order to do so I need to speak with one of the cursed. Know of any werewolf clans around here?"Clairia asked Jeckle. The group froze and looked at her."No way you almost got torn apart the last time you encountered them."Sam spoke with worry in his voice.

There is no other options that she saw so putting herself in harm's way was the only way she could see."Please understand I don't want to but to defeat the witch I have to speak to the ones who know her history the best.Alone, because if I go with a group of hunters the only thing that will do is scare them."Clairia met sam's eyes with determination. This wasn't an option she could risk and she couldn't watch her family die again for a fruitless reason. Most of her life had been fighting supernatural creatures but now that she was one of them she had to understand them better. Sam had saved her the last time she had almost been killed and he has been by her side ever since but she couldn't put him in danger."I might be able to convince them to help me. They could be allies in this fight."She pleaded her case to them. The suggestion was met with hard stares."No."Jekle growled ending the discussion. Clairia already made up her mind however, even if she had to search alone. She would leave tonight and find them even if they killed her she would finally have the answers she was seeking.
