A few days after he … Was punished mondo grabbed taka's shoulder before taka headed to bed " come to my room.. I … I need to finally tell you what i was going to say the night before you were  … Killed?" he mutters . Taka looks up at him " oh uh ok" he smiled slightly before being lead into mondo's room where he sat on the bed. Mondo took a deep breath. " t-taka" he started " i …. I love you man…" he forced out " …. Do…uh…  So Do you…" he flushed a bright pink, taka flushed as well " mondo i-" " don't think of me that way, huh?" mondo sighs. Ishimaru shakes his head " no mondo! i love you to i just never expected…." he trailed off, his face matching mondo's now . Mondo felt warm tears drain down his face again " i-im glad you love me" mondo sighs pulling taka into a hug, taka looked up at him with adorably shy red eyes, a deep blush and a cute smile. Mondo kissed him… He didn't know why but he couldn't not. Taka blushed deeper and instinctually pulls away flustered "m-mondo?". Mondo felt a twinge of guilt and frowned " sorry if you are ready to ki-" " it's not that!" taka interjected blushing " i-i just wasn't expecting it…. " he trailed off then seeing the slightly dejected look on mondo's face forced himself to calm down take charge and… pulled mondo's face down and kissed him . Mondo's face felt hot and mondo thought he must be as red as taka's ruby eyes but he didn't pull away instead he lifted taka up by the waist and held him there. After a few seconds they broke away , mondo felt as if he had grown wings as his insides felt fuzzy and a lot of weight was lifted from his body. He looked at taka who still wasn't relaxed. " could you sleep here tonight" mondo asked, taka blushed " u-uh "

" if you don't want to that's ok i just would like you to" mondo assured.

Taka Smiled " no its ok, i would love to" he laughed as mondo ruffled his hair. " alright" taka said " i'll just go get changed. Then he left to change and mondo changed as well humming a happy tune as he did.

Taka soon arrived ready for bed And mondo pulled back the covers, his hair was down and taka couldn't help but find it adorable. They laid in the bed at first it was awkward but once the air conditioning made the room cold ( totally wasn't set to cold by mondo so he would have a excuse to cuddle taka closely) they naturally curled close and found that they fit together like a puzzle and slept peacefully, once taka was asleep mondo smiled widely as for theb first time… Mondo saw and felt taka relax.
