Peter Parker Exposed

The Intern (pt.3)

Peter— nobody POV:
   Peter walked into the the tower and his arm was still aching with pain because it hasn't healed all the way since last night but he covered his bruises it with a long sleeve shirt. He walked to his lab and there was a woman waiting outside the door.
"Hi, i'm here to tell you the Mr.Stark wishes to keep you in the avengers living quarters." He said politely.
"Now" He complained.
"yes" she said. He walked to the elevator and Tony told FRIDAY that Peter is allowed to the top floor. The bell rang and the doors opened to all the avengers spread around the room.
"Oh hi, you must by Peter, the boy Tony tells us about" Bruce said standing up and walking towards Peter. Peter took a few steps back trying to keep a distance from him. They all stood up and walked next to Bruce.
"Hi I'm Steve" He said taking a step towards Peter to shake his hand but like he did to Tony and Bruce he backed up but this time into the wall and his arm that Steve's shield hit last night.
"OUCH" He complained and rubbed his arm, it really hurt.
"You ok?" Bruce asked Peter.
"Ya, just hurt my arm" Peter said to him.
"You didn't hit that wall very hard, can I take a look at it" Bruce asked Peters permission to lift to sleeve up. Peter knew that they weren't gonna take no for an answer so he rolled his eyes which made Natasha and Clint laugh.
"Fine" He complained like the teen he was and rolled up his sleeve to reveal his large muscle that was severely bruised.
"Dang kid, what did you do" Sam said while rubbing his arm.
"I uh.. I um" He didn't know an excuse. Tony came in "FRIDAY told me Peter was— damn Peter! What did you do?!" Tony said and ran towards him and Peter flinched. They all knew to keep a distance from him for a reason they didn't know of.
"I was umm... I" Peter didn't know what to say and stayed quiet for a suspicious amount of time.
"Oh I was uh mugged and slammed against a wall" None of them believed him, he was the worse liar. "Are you gonna tell us the truth or do you wanna keep lying to us" Natasha said threatening Peter which didn't make Peter very happy.
"Was that a threat?" He said back talking Natasha which surprised them all and looked at her and the boy hoping she wasn't gonna kill him. But she didn't do anything like that.
"Keep him, I like him" She smirked at him and he rolled his eyes.
"He is literally begging her to kill him" Thor said.
"Tony, what do you want, I was told to come up here because you wanted to see me?"  Peter asked wanting to change the subject because he could have taken Natasha easily.
"Oh right! I was wondering if you wanted to be my personal intern" He said confidently with a cocky smile. Peter definitely didn't want to, seeing him even in the halls was too much time spent with him.
"No, was that all?" Peter said which caused Clint to burst out laughing and the smile to whip off of Tony's face.
"Ok, what's you with you kid?" Tony asked and everybody wanted to know. They knew that he didn't like them.
"Nothing" Peter shrugged.
"It's obvious you don't like us, we just want to know why" Sam said.
"What? Is everybody suppose to like the 'hero's'" he said hero's in a sarcastic way.
"If you don't like us than why do you work here?" Tony asked with attitude.
"BECAUSE! Ever since my uncle died things have been tight around the house! My aunt already had two jobs and I never get to see her and she was taking about a 3rd job and there was no way I was gonna let her do that, she doesn't need that so I told her no 3rd job and to quit one of her jobs because I was gonna get one. Y'all where the only place that paid well and was something besides babysitting so I gave it a try even though I don't like you guys! I'm doing this so my aunt isn't working all day and all night!" He yelled at them especially Tony. Tony felt bad that he sassed a 14 year old that was only here so his aunt can sleep at night.
"I-I'm sorry" Tony said.
"Whatever" Peter said and stormed off to the elevator and went to the floor his lab was on.
"We are the worse" Wanda said. Tony walked away to his lab upset. He stayed up all night hating himself for treating Peter like that.
