Chapter 12: The Hospital Visit

As Hayden was driving he kept rubbing my thigh making me feel calmer and calmer with each stroke of his thumb, I couldn't get my mother of father off of my mind it breaks my heart knowing my dad died and my mom might not make it. 

*10 minutes later* 

Hayden and I final arrived at the Hospital my mother was still in surgery 5 minutes of waiting the doctor comes out to speak with me about my mother. 

D: Y/n, when they put your mother under for surgery they didn't know that it was such a high risk for her, her injuries are so severe that she may not wake up from the surgery. 

y: How do you not know that she may not wake up?! it is their job to know everything about the patient before going any further with any action if they knew how to do their job and what their job was they would have known that putting her under was a big risk that they were willing to take and I should have been notified. 

H: babe it's going to be okay, but Doctor Ramirez she has a point. 

D: nice to see you Hayden. 

y: okay this is not a hero reunion this is my mother laying on a operating table and her daughter not knowing if she is going to wake up with fully brain dead surgeons back there operating on her. 

y: I do not want my mother worked on no further you go back there and you tell them that her daughter said they better finish now close her up and put her in a icu room this instant I am not joking, I am not happy, I have lost my father tonight and now I may lose my mother the same night as well. I don't know what you call this doctor but it isn't happiness or sadness nor anger so if I was you i'd get to telling your little minions what I said. 

D: now y/n you can't- 

Y: do not tell me that I can't come in here barking orders I am her first of kin and I have the authority to say what I want done and it will get done or you and everybody in this damn place will be jobless and shut the hell down do not push my buttons. 

H: okay I think it is time for you to sit down and chill out. 

y: No I am not going to be dragged around like a damn stuffed toy because these idiots can't do their job. 

y/n walked out of the hospital leaving Hayden speechless and feeling sorry for the doctors finally he realized what she had said and ran after her. 

H: y/n stop do not walk your ass any further because if you do it show's how much you really care about her. you need to chill the hell out how can you sit there and call them people all of them names when they operated on me. 

Y: no they didn't Hayden I watched the interview you was only here to get stabilized than they transferred you to a much better place and wherever you went is where I want my mother to go. 

H: they can't do that, they've already started the operation. they can't just close her up and transfer her somewhere else. 

Y: you really don't get it do you? 

 H: get what? I haven't seen my mother or father in what feels like forever I have been living with my aunt and she has taken care of me I moved out on my own at 16 and have been by myself ever since. 

 Y: okay well at least you know your mother isn't fighting for her life and you know that your dad is still alive. my mother is laying in a operating room and may not putll through this and my dad is dead so you do not get it. 

H: babe I know you are hurting but it's going to be okay. 

Y: is that coming from sentimental Hayden or the Hayden that wants me to stop getting upset and stressed before something happens to me? 

H: no it's coming from the Hayden that almost lost his life from a car accident, it's coming from the Hayden that had a colostomy bag and was fighting for his life, it's coming from the Hayden that was laying on the same operating table getting bleached out from the inside for 48 hours so he could live, it's coming from Me y/n the kid that had nothing and wrote his first successful rap laying in the hospital bed it's coming from the kid that was on life support for 6 days and magically woke up Nobody knew If I was going to wake up but I did and I see a lot of shit differently that I didn't see back then. 

y/n walked up to Hayden crying as he was crying as well. 

Y: I am sorry babe I truly am I just don't know what I am going to do. 

H: your going to let them do their job all you can do is pray.

Y: i cant i just want my mom to be able to live the rest of her life.

The doctor came out and took y/n by the hand.

D: Forgive me for what i am about to say.

Y: shes gone isnt she?

D: yes y/n she is gone.

Y/n turned around and hugged Hayden the doctir took y/n to the operating room to say goodybye for the last time. Y/n sat down in the waitung area for a min she fell asleep Hayden grabbed y/n and carrued her to the car When y/n woke up she was in her bed Hayden was watching her sleep and running his fingers through her hair.
When y/n woke up she looked confused.
H: what's wrong ma?
Y: i had a bad dream.
H: bout?
Y: my mom died and i seen her one last time.
H: baby?
Y: yes?
H: that actually happened last night, we was at the hospital and you fell asleep in the waiting area after you seen your mom i carried you to the car and to the room.
Y: idk what i am going to do.
H: baby dont worry you have me and im not leaving we will do something special for them both.
Y: i love you!
H: i love you too!
Hayden kissed y/n and went to cook her breakfast. TBC
