Lucy POV

We sat in silence, we didn't know what to say about what we heard.
"Hey Luce... who's zeref?" Natsu asked.
"You're telling me you were sitting here the whole time not knowing who he is?!" I yelled at him.
"No... can you tell me?" He asked.
"Well I heard before the peace agreement was signed and we were unified, there was a scientist in the institute who didn't agree with it. He went mad and disappeared with a few synths... and the a body who was said to be his younger brother. But I was sure he died or something... no one can survive the glowing sea without a shit ton of rad away or rad-x. Well I guess you can if you have power armor... but it's been like 20 something years..." I rambled on
"So he's a evil dude?" Natsu said basically summing up what I just told him.
"Yea" I said with a sigh. We stayed silent for a while.
"Wanna put on some music? I heard this new song someone made" natsu said breaking the silence.
"For real?!" I exclaimed, it's been a while since new music been out.
"Yup!" Natsu said with a smile.
"finally someone recorded themselves and put it on radio, I swear in tired of listening to rocket 69 over and over again" I laughed.
"Haha yea, someone must have had some free time or something" natsu said as he got a holotape and put it in his pip-boy.
"This guy was just giving them out... he said it's the music of the decade so I'm like sure I'll take one I was tired of listening to all 37 tracks Travis has" natsu said as he loaded it up. "They aren't bad songs either" he added.
"Just hurry up and load the tape" I said as I laughed at him.
"Um hello I'm Greg Gonzales and is my album... this is my first song apocalypse" the holotape started.

"Come dance with me" natsu smiled as he held out his hand.
"Ugh okay..." I didn't argue, I knew he'll probably bug me about it until I agree.
"You don't have to if ya don't want to" natsu assured me.
"Nah I got nothing to do anyway" I giggled as I took his hand. I smiled at him and saw a hint of pink on his face.
"Aww is someone flustered" I laughed
"N-no I just didn't expect you to want to dance" he said.

"Eh I got my sources" he said as he casually lowers his hands to my hips. I pretended to not notice.

"And that was apocalypse thank you for listening... now this is my next son..." I tuned him out and moved my face closer to natsu's.
"What up losers... OHMyGod!" Someone entered my house.
Me and natsu backed away from each other.
"OH HIIII gray how are things with juvia!" I said trying to change the subject.
"did I interrupted something" he asked.
"Duh!" Natsu exclaimed.
"No no you didn't interrupt anything.." I said.
"What do you- You know what never mind!" Natsu exclaimed leaving my house.
"Wait natsu..." i said.
"No Don't 'Wait natsu' me! I've tried so hard luce... you won't accept me! I'm sorry for sticking around with you for the past 6 years! I didn't know you still didn't trust anyone... especially me..." natsu yelled at me then turned the corner.

I felt my tears start to swell up... I sucked it back in and turned to gray.
"Uhh... well.. erza wanted you and natsu for a mission gramps is sending us on. We are all getting together in two days so... yea...um do you want to.. talk?" Gray said hesitantly.
"Thanks Gray but no I'm f-fine" I said with a fake smile
"Come on Lucy... you I know you love and trust him... what's holding you back?" Gray said.
'What's holding me back'
"I-Um Gray there's a rad roach" I lied.
"What where!?" Gray said as he got out a combat knife.
"there" I said as I pushed him out of my door way, out of my house. I locked my door.
"Hey! Luc- *sigh* I'll see ya in two days lucy" Gray said as I heard his foot steps receding into the distance.
'What's holding me back...'
I looked around my house... and sighed. I then noticed that there's something on the floor... it's the holotape. I felt my eyes water up... it's natsu holotape.
I plugged it into my pip-boy and skipped the first song so that I can listen to the rest...
