"NATSU! Please get ahold of yourself!" I cried out.
I looked around to see my fallen allies. They were barley alive. Wendy can't get to them at a moment like this. Bang bang
I was being shot at my the man I love.
"NATSU! Please!" I yelled to him. I didn't want to hurt him, but he leaves me no choice.

—-48 hours earlier

"Natsu and Lucy head towards the left, Levy and Gajeel to the right. Gray and I will head straight." Jellal order.
"Aye sir!" The group yelled.

"Stay close Luce, the city is uncomfortably quiet" Natsu held my hand tightly.
"We can't fight if we are holding hands dummy" I clenched his hand.
The dead scattered the streets. Some crushed under the rubble, others burnt to a crisp.
We then past by our house.
"Natsu... all our hard work." I felt myself tear up. Natsu stared silently as he gripped my hand.
"Luce, now is not the time..." he choked on his words. I nodded in understanding and we moved on.
"At least happy, Michelle and everyone is safe." Natsu broke the silence.
"Y-Yea" We continued making our way to the point of battle.

When we arrived all of our forces were in battle. Our comrades in arms were getting injured and dying off while we stayed back. I knew I had to keep a positive mindset. My allies will not die in vain.
"Come on, Natsu! It's our time to shine!" I exclaimed.
"Aye! I'm all fired up!"
I aimed my gun at the first syth I saw.
"Haha! Luce look I got a triple kill!" Natsu smiled.
"Show off" I stuck my tongue out at him. Two synths started shooting at us.
"These guys have new gun models" I said.
"What does it matter" Natsu then jumped out and shot them both 5 times.
"Take their ammo and guns" I ordered.
"Oo I like bossy Luce" he said with a smirk that made me blush a bit.
"Whatever Natsu" I said to him as he tossed me a gun.
While shooting with it we realized how supercharged they can get. we wiped out the whole area. Well the area in a 5 mile radius of us.
"Now what, theres not one synth near us." Natsu pouted
"Let's check in" I suggested
"This is Natsu, what's the deal? Why is everyone so quiet?" Natsu said so shamelessly.
"Oh thank god, we've been trying to get through to you two for an hour already! Where are you guys?" I heard Levy say.
"We've been fighting on the left of the walls" I replied.
" so this whole time you're radio wasn't on?" Levy questioned.
"I'm guessing so." Natsu said.
"You two! Why i outta-." "Natsu, Lucy, we've found cannons. They are about to recharge and start firing closer to the cities center" Jellal interrupted.
"The last cannon has 15 minute until it fires" levy added.
"Natsu, Lucy take out the far left cannon it's the last one." Jellal ordered through the radio.
"Aye!" We replied.

We ran straight ahead, synths began to attack us again but they were stopped in no time.
"There!"
It was a colossal structure.
"Jellal, how do you suppose we take this giant thing out!" I asked.
"Like this!" Natsu then pulled out a Fat Boy and load it this a nuclear missile.
"Nevermind on that last question" I said
"Luce get down!" Natsu yelled. We ducked behind some rocks as the thing exploded.
"Where did you get that thing?" I asked
"Off that guy" he pointed to a dead super mutant.
"Woah, I didn't even notice him"
"Seems you're skills aren't as sharp as they use to be" he teased.
"Maybe Im getting use the New skills" I winked at him, he responded with a slight blush.
"Yea well, those new skills are pretty damn good" he said as he unexpectedly pulled me in close by the waist.
"I-I uh- um, Natsu! Watch out!" I pushed him off as took a hit for him. Luckily the bullet just grazed me.
"FUCK Lucy are you okay!" Natsu snapped outta his- well his weirdness.
"Ah! Don't touch it! Just give me a stimpack and I'll be fine" I reassured him.
"Aye" he did what I asked and covered me as I patched my self up.
"Natsu, Lucy, go towards the upper center, I'll send you a map of the meeting point now" Jellal radioed in.
"Aye! We got it" Natsu replied.

We met up near some trees and bushes.
"Okay is everyone here?" Jellal asked.
"Aye, what's going on?" I asked.
"We are near where Zeref was last spotted. He showed no signs of moving. He's working at a little lab he set up. He's about .5 miles away. We are going in with no plan" Jellal explained.
"What do you mean no plan?" Gajeel questioned.
"We don't know how zeref thinks so we are just going to be unpredictable." Jellal said.
"In short, act like Natsu" Gray added.
"Why you!" Natsu got mad.
"Let's go you guys" I said.
"I wish you all good luck" Jellal said as he dismissed us.
