the end of a long night (part two)

the car windows were shattered, the bonnets looked like they had been hammered, and there was spray painting plastered all over.

"our chipz rule!!!" jonny read out.
everyone sighed except zoe and cass. they were fuming and had no idea what was going on. jackie stomped upstairs in a huff to go and scream at martin.

"dad had a fight with the fish and chip people down the road a few days ago. he said he would give them a bad review and um.." adam trailed off.
but everyone was too tired to even care anymore. zoe went to sleep in the first bedroom she could find and left jonny adam, and cassidy. the whole house seemed silent.

"jonny, i might go to bed too. i cant be arsed to drive."
"but its your car ! how am i supposed to get home??"
"well just sleep here..?" adam told his brother. cassidy looked at the time on her phone.
"11:30. jesus ! its so late.."
they all decided not to argue and went to find somewhere to sleep.
adam slept in his room. martin had put the sofas together and slept on them. jackie went into her room and zoe had the spare room. there was cassidy and jonny left. and one room.

cass shuddered at the thought. she had only just met jonny after god knows how long and now she would have to sleep with him. they both stayed in an uncomfortable silence for a little while. it was like the goodman family was trying to set her up for some strange reason.

"well um.. should i find a mattress for you?" jonny offered.
"yes pleasee!"

the pair looked all over the house and had a scavenger hunt all over the garage, and by the time they had looked all over the house, they felt like passing out. they had finally found a small blow up mattress, and they were knackered. they went upstairs to get dressed.

cassidy borrowed one of jonnys jumpers and shorts from when he was a teenager.
"jesus fucking christ jonny. this smells of rotten bananas and fish."
jonny frowned.

"obviously it stinks ! its been sitting in this wardrobe for 10 bloody years." jonny snapped back. he defended his disgusting jumper.

"okok chill ! i know you dont stink dont worry," cassidy giggled. she went into the bathroom to get changed.
jonny smiled as she left the room. he had forgotten how much fun he used to have with cassidy and he couldn't wait to find out more about her.

cassidy came out looking kind of like a yeti - monster thingy because of how big the clothes were compared to her. she decided to spray almost half the bottle of the familys air freshener because she didn't think she could bear the putrid smell of disgustingness any longer before passing out.

she was too scared to come out of the bathroom and was just debating on whether she should sleep in the bathtub instead.
