The End is Near

Chapter 3~ Five

After the lady called my name, a tall man wearing green (the neutral color, meaning that he has to test me without giving his opinion) took me to room 5. "You may take a seat over there, my dear", the man said. "K", I replied a little to quickly. "Okay, so the way the test will work is that I will put these wires around your wrists and ankles. Then I will give you some pills to drink. You will fall asleep while I take pictures of you brain and possibly heart. During the test you will not feel, see, hear, or smell anything. So therefore, you have nothing to worry about", the man said. The only response I had was to nod my head.

Finally, the guy in green started to tie wires around my limbs. Then he gave me some green pills. I started to feel dizzy, and then I felt empty. I couldn't SEE anything but everything LOOKED green. Maybe he did something wrong, or only I could see green. Maybe I'm like a superhero. This is weird, the only thing I can do is think. I wonder what he uses to examine my brain. Hmm... maybe I can like move without trying to. I use all my strength to punch something, but if I did I didn't feel it. Suddenly, I feel horrible. What if I did punch somebody? Suddenly, there was harsh light. And I see light green eyes staring back at me. It was the guy in green staring at me.

My first reaction is to sit up, and stare back. "What did I do?", I ask. "Y...you", he mumbled. "What?", I reply. He took a deep breath. "You got test results for...". "WHAT?", I screamed getting REALLY annoyed. "Allfiveofthesectors", he whispered really fast. I stare at him in silence. "Did you say what I thought you said?" I ask. "Yes".

"Wow. How is that even possible?" "Well, first you thought of your self. That is a Narcissistic trait. Then you got curious like the Resourceful and Eloquent. After that you punched air, and after looking back at your thoughts you wanted to punch something, just to test it out. This action shows Gallant. Finally you showed Benevolent by feeling bad for attempting to punch me", the guy said. I stared at him with my mouth wide open, and unblinking.

I closed my mouth and ripped off the wires around my legs. "Your lying!" I screamed, even though I knew he was right. "How am I supposed to get a sector?! I... I am nothing?" I start to calm down. "What now?" I growl. "Well your defiantly not nothing, so I think you should chose your sector", the man said. I still don't know his name, but that is besides the point. "But how will I do that?" I ask. "Just tell me and I will put it in the computer as your test results".

I look at his face and can tell that he is not kidding. "Hmm... do I have to decide right now?" I ask. "Well we can delay the ceremony until tomorrow, if I say the wires are broken. They might already be broken from when you took aka TORE them off."

"That sounds great but when will I tell you my chose?" I ask, not stricken by the fact that he just accused me of breaking his little wires. "Umm tomorrow first thing, I will say that I couldn't put the wires on you because you were resisting and then I will retest you. All except that I wound retest you. You will just tell me your decision", he replies. "I would head home kid you've got quite a decision to make"

"Yeah, I'd say", I sigh. I start walking to the door, but then turn around and ask, "What is your name? I know you aren't supposed to tell me, but I just wanted to know..." "I'm Louis", he interrupts. "What sector are you in Louis?" I ask again. "I don't have a sector", he sates. Then he whispers, "I am like you, all except I didn't have a nice tester."

I stare at him. "So it is possible to have results for more than one sector" "Yes, but it isn't that common in girls. They are to have a very strait forward personality", he replies. "Well, that is stupid", I say a little too loudly. "So you would say, you are not a normal girl", Louis retorts. "I should be going", I say. "See you tomorrow."

"Bye Stephanie", he replies. "Call me Steph. Bye Louis", I trun around and close the door behind me.

(A/N I think this has been my longest chapter yet! After the next chapter the book will be different than "Divergent" I only based the different sectors or factions idea from "Divergent" pretty much. Hope you keep reading and enjoy!😉)
