The End is Near

Chapter 4~ My Choices

As soon as I closed the testing door I went into the open room were the lady was still calling names. I searched the room for my mom, and when I found her I walked to her and gave her a big hug. She looked down at me and said,"You did it. I am so proud of you, now we just have to wait until..."

The big lady stopped calling names and interrupted my mom by saying,"There has been a slight problem, we will continue the tests and ceremony tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience." My mom looked at me with a surprised look on her face. "Isn't that weird, well... I'm going to go make some calls." "Mom I don't need another surprise party", I say as calmly as I can. "I have quite a de...lightful day ahead of me", I say saving myself from saying,"I have quite a decision to make." Good thing my mom is Narcissistic and isn't as smart as the Eloquent.

As soon as I get home I go straight into my room. I have NO IDEA what I will choose. Hmmm, I think of all the times I ever see different sectors. Well I don't normally see the Benevolent, sense our sector doesn't like them very much. Our sector is also cut off from all the other sectors because of our very bad personalities.

When I think about it, a couple weeks ago I saw a Gallant girl that looked to be about 16 go into our neighbor's house. Our neighbors are an older couple with kids that transferred to Gallant and Eloquent. I only met the boy that transferred to eloquent a couple times. His name was Louis, and he is 3 years older than me. When I met him he was quite, but he was brave in a hidden way.

Wait his name was Louis! Louis was my tester! But the guy I saw at the test had green eyes and brown hair, and my neighbor had blonder hair with green eyes as well. I only have like 10 more hours to make my choice, so I think I should continue my thoughts about my choice, not Louis.

So anyway, the Gallant girl that went into the house acted like she owned the place. I clearly remember her shoulders back and her head held high. But I barley remember the small strides she took and the small frown on her face, like she was worried. But then when she came back out of the house she didn't look brave at all. Maybe not all Gallant have to be brave all the time, maybe all they can do is try.

Now I have to remember the Resourceful. They are always doing suspicious, something creepy. I'm not sure if I want to be that person that is always around, always watching, or should I say observing?

Now I take out a piece of paper and wright:

•Resourceful•

•Eloquent•

•Narcissistic•

•Benevolent•

Then I cross out Resourceful and Narcissistic. I want to try something different than what I am doing now. And I don't want to be the person that always has to observe and never forget.

Now I evaluate the Eloquent. The Eloquent aren't bad, I think that they are just curious. They always have open eyes, and there is always someone from their sector around reading or thinking. I don't think I will cross Eloquent out.

I still love my sector and family, so I decide to cross out Benevolent. My honest opinion is that Benevolent would be boring, and it would get boring fast.

Now I have to chose between Eloquent and Gallant. Maybe I will just wait until tomorrow morning an decide, even though I doubt I will be able to sleep.
