A man sat quietly in his cell. He was the only person in the asylum not to scramble to some section of the asylum to take over. He adjusted his tie as he waited for one of the heroes to find him. He thought about Killer Moth. All that man thought about was survival, he was a pawn, nothing more. "Killer Moth was insignificant. He would have kept me up at night." He stated as he turned around. A bat stood behind him, his shadow darkening the entire cell.
"Who are you?" The Bat asked.
He sighed in response. "My name is Victor Zsasz. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Gotham, where all the apartments are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Walmart store chain, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone."
"You appear to have made more than a few enemies."
He shook his head. "On the contrary, Batman. Moth approached me as a friend, I simply found him rather disagreeable."
Batman kicked the cell door down, and roughly pushed him against the wall. "You killed him, tell me how!" He slammed him to the floor, wrapping his hands around Zsasz's neck. Zsasz reached up, and grabbed the Bat's shoulder.
"Violence won't get anything out of me, I told you my intentions. I will live a quiet life, you of all people will not stop me."
Batman lifted him up, and threw him into another cell. He slammed the door behind him, leaving Zsasz behind.
"It was truly pleasant meeting you, Batman. I'll see you on the other side."
Batman walked out, ready to take out the next threat.
