"Well," Astrid began,"I've been thinking and.............well, you know how little Pete used Caine's body," "That sounds wrong!" Caine exclaimed from the sofa. Astrid continued, ignoring Caine's comment, "Well maybe Petey acted like a shield, protecting Caine from Gaia." A thick silence enveloped the room like an ominous blanket. Caine, beating Diana to the act, broke the silence. "Well, that's a damn good theory, but it's a shame we'll never know of its right." "So, I'm fucking starving right now and I haven't eaten any real food at all, so I might eat one of you. Well maybe not my brother here,"Caine said nodding toward Sam,"He might be rotten." Sam glared at Caine as Caine laughed silently. Diana rolled her eyes and said,"So let's go to.................." Astrid inturupted Diana by blurting out, "Red lobster!" Sam got off the bed and stretched. "Red lobster it is!" Sam announced and headed to the living room with Astrid in tow. Caine, who was still sprawled on the sofa, asked Diana, "Um, Diana do you have any clothes that fit? I'm going to shower so..........." Diana sighed and left the room. She returned seconds later with a deep midnight blue shirt and blue jeans. Caine surprised that Diana did have clothes, got up and snatched the clothes and headed to the shower.
