"Since you guys are now safe I will be heading back'...Darren said after dropping off the two sisters. "And don't forget the mail by the door" he reminded them.

"Dad, we're home. Dad?" Janet said it was a habit of hers when she arrives home but got no response that day

"It's weird. He should be home by now. maybe he is in the kitchen
Dad, im hungry. Dad?...he is not here either" jannet said looking at Puffed-eye Amber. "I think he has lots of work to do since he is leaving tomorrow to meet a new business partner. Lets just cook something simple shall we?...or ,looking at her little sister with evil eye and a smirk, "we could order pizza and some chicken"....Amber smiled agreeing to her sister's idea.

When the food arrived they were already sitting by the t.v. watching some shows .They devoured the food that was brought and Jannet remembered the mail and stripped off the plain outer envelope...

"Weird it has no address or from whom it's been sent.."
After reading the paper...Jannet's fingers started to shake , tears were already collected at the rim of her eyes, then he looked at amber who was still chunking on the chicken ....Amber looks at her too but thought it was just a proposal letter from some anonymous person which she often gets sometimes as a prank.. "Are you that happy this time that you're crying" amber she said with no emotion in her tone..

Jannet looks at her sister with eyes that were filled with fear and says"Amber, Dad's been kidnapped"..

Amber snaps her head up by what she heard
"What? Stop joking."

"Im not."

"Look at the letter.."

Amber takes the letter and believes her sister because the letters used in the paper were cut out from magazines and it sounded like a genuine threat message.
The letter read like this

"We have your dad, he will not be tortured more than he is now if you follow the simple rules. Do not involve the police if you want your dad's heart to still beat. Open the package and use only the phone provided. You have only two days to get the job done...Happy gaming."

Amber also starts freaking out though she and her dad were never that close .she never hated her dad she only wished he would have gone after their mom when she left to
bring her back which he didnt.

"What should we do.should we call on the phone?" Amber said

"I really don't know. I wonder what he wants us to do.
Maybe we should call Darren?"janet suggested

"He said not to involve anyone"amber said

"look Amber, we both know we cannot do anything useful.we need Darren" janet said

Amber takes a minute to think and nods her head in agreement.

"Okay but only Darren and no one else or we are putting more danger on dad's life." Amber reminded

"Only Darren" Jannet agrees

She dialed on Darren's no. and tells him to come immediately
But darren was joking on the other line.

"Did you miss me already?"darren said

"Shut up Darren..we need your help. Dad's been kidnapped"

"That's impossible. Stop joking. Your dad has two bodyguards." Darren still was not serious with the conversation.

"I'm Serious . pleasssee darren just come and i'll tell you everything..."jannet begs

Darren only half believed what he heard .he thought they were pranking on him but decided to go check on them anyway.. It was 8:30 P.M. when he reached the prekins' door.
