**Play the song when you read the chapter, maybe halfway through of at the end of the chapter. I think it really suits Jungkook's feeling**
Both of them was in silence, only the sound of coffee brewing accompanied the thick tension grew, "What are you doing here?" Jungkook shot her a menacing look, suppressing his sudden anger.
"I..I, came back for you and Joon Hyung," Min Young could not help but stuttered seeing how cold Jungkook was towards her.
"You dare to say that after what you've done to us?" He clenched his teeth, staring at the woman in front of him angrily.
"Look Jungkook I'm sorry, I have reasons for what I've done," she tried to defend herself.
"But that doesn't mean you can leave us just like that," Jungkook clutched his hand tightly.
"Jungkook, please listen to me, baby please," she tried to reach for his hands but he flinched.
"Stop calling me that, we have nothing to do with anymore," he reprimanded, shooting her a glare.
It went silent and Jungkook instantly got up from his seat. He turned his back towards the exit and was about to walk when Min Young's words stopped his tracks.
"I left you because I nearly died," she said in sullen tone before continued, "I was diagnosed with leukemia and my condition was getting worse day by day," a sigh escaped her mouth.
"I was terrified, I was having depression because I was scared of death, I could die anytime Jungkook," she pleaded when Jungkook turned his body towards her.
"Why didn't you tell me? What am I to you just then?" He said, clearly disappointed. They had shared everything at that time. He trusted her so much, giving all of his to her but how could she did that? Was he nothing to her all the time? Was it hard to tell the truth?
"I'm sorry, I didn't know what I've been thinking at that time. I didn't want to hurt you more because I know you were hurting with my changes, I...I just didn't know what to do," she replied as she looked directly into his eyes, those eyes that once showed nothing but love and adore.
"Then miracle happened when the hospital that I've been receiving the treatment found a suitable donor for me but it was thousand miles across the country," her voice tone became brighter before it dropped again, "but it meant I have to leave you."
"My thought was so clouded with me getting better without even considering anyone else. I know I was selfish but it was my only choice." She pleaded.
"But that didn't change the fact that I've been hurt," Jungkook finished his words with a firm tone and Min Young knew he was being serious about it. It would be hard to win his heart back.
"I'm sorry, please just give me a chance to atone my mistakes. Let me become a better wife and mother for you and Joon Hyung," she continued to console him.
"I'm just, what you did was hard to forget although I've forgiven you. It was just..I have to go," Jungkook berated.
"Jungkook...wait!"
Min Young was left speechless when Jungkook exited the coffee shop and fastened his pace towards his car. He was gobsmacked seeing the woman whom he once loved was standing and having a conversation with him. He thought he already moved on with the past, yes maybe he did but there were pieces of him which still held the memories deep inside. Her coming back was as if fresh wounds were sliced on his old scars. His vision was clouded with tears that he did not realize he was already crying.
Guess I'm still a crybaby.
He drove back to his house, shoving his car keys on the table lamp beside his bed and throwing his body onto the mattress. His energy was drained and he was weak. He was vulnerable.
