Chapter 28 - Rage

Time indeed flied fast as the day which she promised Min Young to see her only son had finally arrived. Chaeyoung woke up with unsettled feelings, nevertheless she shrugged it off. She put on her casual outfits with a simple makeup. She tied her hair into a high ponytail as she briskly went down only to notice that Lisa had already served the breakfast. 

"Morning Lisa!" She chirped cheerfully.

"Morning Chaeng!" Lisa replied with the same enthusiastic tone. 

Chaeyoung had her final sip of coffee before she helped Lisa did the dishes. Both of them parted ways as she went to the school with a smile. In a moment, the class finally ended and the children gradually left the class to go back home. Chaeyoung was putting back her stationary into the pencil case when her eyes caught Joon Hyung was packing his belongings. They were the only ones left inside the classroom.

"Joon Hyung?"

Raising his head, the small boy grinned while answering her call, "yes miss?"

"Are you going home with your dad today?" Chaeyoung straightened her posture while asking him.

"Yes miss. But dad said he will be late today and he asked me to stay with you. Can I?" Joon Hyung blinked his eyes staring at her innocently.

"Yes, of course you can!" Chaeyoung replied happily which caused his grin to become wider.

"Thank you miss! That's why I love you," Joon Hyung replied enthusiastically which warmed her heart.

"Owhh..I love you too. Come let's go," Chaeyoung reached out her hand towards him as he skipped his way to hold her hands tightly.

They were making their way towards the school entrance as Joon Hyung animatedly told her about his days and his dissatisfaction about Jungkook who had been busy these past few days which earned small laughter from her. They reached the front gate of the school and a familiar figure caught her attention. As they both halted their steps at the gate, Chaeyoung knelt down as she put her hands on his shoulders while smiling, "Joon Hyung."

The boy ears perked up upon hearing her as his eyes fixated on hers. He tilted his head to one side as he was keen on observing his teacher. His expressions turned wondrous, slightly curious with her sudden behaviour, "yes miss?"

"I want you to meet my friend. She's pretty and she's kind too," she smiled as she squeezed his shoulders lightly.

"Pretty like you?" Joon Hyung suddenly blurted which made a smile curved on her face.

"Hmm pretty like me or I bet much prettier," she chuckled which made the boy frowned.

"No one is prettier than you," Joon Hyung pouted while crossing his arms on his chest.

She laughed seeing his adorable antics as she continued, "it doesn't matter but my friend wants to meet you."

"Really? Why?" His eyes rounded as he tilted his head to one side, a clear confusion was seen on his face.

"It's nothing really. But I bet it's because I always tell her about you and now she wants to meet you," Chaeyoung averted her gaze towards Min Young who was currently waiting in front of her car as she was observing them. Joon Hyung also faced towards the same direction and gave a small smile towards the woman who was currently smiling at him.

"Can you promise me to be a good boy and meet her? Maybe she wants to take you out also," Chaeyoung said in rather an excited tone.

"Will you follow us miss?" The little boy pouted.

"No I won't because I'll be waiting here for you to come back," Chaeeyoung said with a soft tone to assure Joon Hyung.

"Okay miss," Joon Hyung replied earnestly.
