7 times.. that's the number of times I have tried to leave this house and they won't allow me. 7 damn times.
They say it's for my own protection but don't they understand that the one they think can protect me is the one trying to kill me?Am tired of being couped up in here!! I need to work! I miss shopping! I miss having lunch with Diana and Mira! I miss the comfort of my own little apartment!
Sighing frustratedly,I flop back to the large bed. What can I do to leave? Could he keep me here forever?
Speaking of him,I haven't seen him in the last 3 days.
Maybe I shouldn't be so harsh...but he deserves it.Getting up and fixing the yellow, long sleeved wrap dress that was definitely bought by Malakai,I walk to the door to open it. Suprisingly,I don't find Jones,my everyday babysitter. I mean body guard.
The house itself is unnaturally quiet. Curiosity eats at me and all thoughts of leaving are out my mind. Walking a bit further into the seemingly long hallway,I call out for Martha, the nurse that was assigned to take care of me and Jones. But my ears are graced with silence.
Suspicion begins to slip in,where is everyone? They didn't just leave me alone in this huge house now did they?
Emerging from the hallway,I find a set of two winding staircases, one on the far right, where I am and one on the far left, which I am assuming is the other wing of the house. Glancing up the ceiling,my eyes spot a very beautiful crystal chandelier and momentarily I am stunned at it's beauty.
Recovering,I now realize that I am faced with a dilemma. I don't know which direction to head to. Peeking down the staircase,I instinctively know that that should be where the exist is. One Foot forward,I stop myself. Is this a test?
Lord..am so foolish. Without wasting time,I stomp off to the other hallway.
"Malakai! Malakai Lundgren! Is this some kind of a joke!!"
I say rather noisily. Spotting a room,I open it without warning and emerging from what I see is the bathroom is a clean shaven, very wet and naked Malakai Lundgren.
We both freeze,my mouth agape, his set in a Hardline.
"I..I.." words fail me and I stand there feeling foolish. His still naked!
His eyes alight with amusement and in very slow and deliberate movements,he grabs the towel lying on the bed and reluctantly puts it around his waist.
"Yes?" He says casually,as if I didn't just see his..his..his thing swinging left and right!!!
Has he no shame?! Wait..Have I no shame? I openly ogled him! I still am!!!
He quirks his eyebrow up and I quickly shut the door closed. Running down the stairs. I should have opted for this root instead.
I don't know how but I find myself in a kitchen. A huge, modern state of the art kitchen. At that moment,my stomach grambles.
I haven't had anything to eat since morning and it's 1 in the afternoon. Martha is always the one to bring me food.I've never really left my room, except for the 7 times I was forced back from the door.
This house is large..I need some help to navigate it.Sitting down on one of the high chairs,I grab an apple from the kitchen island and feast on it.
I grab a few grapes too and pop them in my mouth. Is it just me or food tastes 10 times better when you're starving?
When I am done with those,I grab a banana. A big yellow carved banana. My mind wanders to a very naked Malakai, warily I put the banana back and settle for more grapes.
