"Trust me I've been broken before."

My desk lamp blinds me while I sit at my desk typing away at my laptop. Everyone's asleep while I research more about the Oni. Scott told Kira everything, that's another thing I can't get out of my head. What if she's a threat to us? I try to push the thought aside while I go back to focusing on pages upon pages of the Oni. I'm not sure if all of it is fake or not.

They are summoned to do a personal task, they check a person to see if they could be a threat. No man-made weapon can stop them from turning evil and killing everyone and everything that's in their path. They shouldn't be fought but endured until they finish their work. They're neither good nor evil, if someone stops them from finishing their task they will kill. They're katana wielding supernatural demons. They can be stopped with mountain ash but after a period of time they can break through the barrier.

I remember Lydia telling me that when she tried to scream they stopped her without even touching her.

Their only weakness is the sun, they seem to come out of the shadows.

As I'm about to scroll down to read more about them, my phone, which is set next to my laptop, starts to vibrate. I answer it after scanning the caller ID.

"Stiles? Is something wrong?" I ask, tiredness clear in my voice. I yawn and rub my eyes before he answers. But...he doesn't answer. All I can hear is his heavy breathing. Like always, I start to worry. I stand up from my desk chair before running into Scott's room. As soon as the door opens, Scott begins to rub his eyes to have them adjust to his surroundings and he groggily sits up as I sit on the bed beside him. He looks at me worriedly while I stare ahead, waiting for Stiles to answer.

"What's wrong?" He asks me. I put the call on speaker.

"Stiles, are you okay?" I ask. Static and heavy breathing is the only thing coming from the other end. Scott and I exchange looks of worry.

"Stiles, you there?" Scott asks.

"Scott?" Stiles whispers. He sounds like he's been crying, he sounds terrified.

"Hey, I'm here. Are you okay? Can you hear me?" Scott asks.

"I don't... I don't know where I am. I don't know how I got here. I think I was sleepwalking." Stiles answers. He keeps whispering which piques my curiosity.
