"Go and play sweetie," Dean kissed Mary's head as she ran off to play with Ben.

Lisa put her head on Dean's shoulder. "We did good didn't we?"

Dean nodded. "We sure did." He leaned down and kissed her forehead.

Mary ran to Ben who was on the swing set and got on another swing.

"I bet I can swing higher than you," Mary boasted.

"Do it then."

Mary and Ben were soon swinging high and trying to out swing each other. Mary had reached the top of her swing and was grinning at Ben with a smirk, as she was higher than him. She didn't pay attention though and her hands slipped.

She feel to the ground and tried to catch herself. Almost instantly, Dean was by her side and Lise too. It was so fast it was like he just appeared there.

"Sweetheart, are you ok?"

Mary didn't respond at first. She was holding her hand up. It was at an odd angle and it hurt like hell but she wasn't crying. She was in shock.

Dean gently held her hand and she winced. "Sorry, I need to keep it still. I think you broke it, pumpkin. But nothing we can't fix."

Lisa got Ben off the swing and followed Dean, who was carrying Mary, into the house.
