The Lab Rat (Ereri)

Chapter 4

About half way to my house, I had regained my ability to move my body and asked Ymir to put me down. Even after I was able to walk on my own, neither of them asked any questions. I was grateful for that.

My story isn't a happy one so I don't really like to bring it up in any sort of conversation.

When we arrived at my house, Hanji was waiting for me. "OH MY GOD EREN!! I'M SO SORRY! I SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER THAN TO LEAVE YOU ALONE IN THE DARK. AT NIGHT. IM A DESPICABLE HUMAN BEING!"

She was down on her knees apologizing. "Hanji, I'm fine. See? Ymir and Christa took me home after they, you know, found me in the middle of the sidewalk having a panic attack." Hanji glomped Ymir.

"Thank you so much for helping him! I don't know what I would've done if something happened to him while I was at home!" Ymir tears Hanji off of her, the motion made a velcro-like sound that made me laugh.

Christa walks up to me and smiles brightly. "You're smiling." she says simply. I blush from embarrassment. Seriously though, this girl is so adorable, she can make a gay man blush.

"Well, now that we know that you're okay now, the two of us should really get home." Ymir said patting me on the back. They said their goodbyes and left. What a nice couple. I'll be sure to thank them again at school tomorrow. Oh yeah that reminds me!

"Hanji, don't bother with the cleanup tomorrow. Levi is going to come over and help me. And I was also wondering if he could come over afterwards."

Hanji pondered over the information for a minute then grinned at me. "So you want Mr.Clean to come over?" she smirked. I tried holding back a laugh at the nickname she gave him. "well it so happens that i'm going to be at a spur of the moment science convention. For a couple of days so it looks like its all going to work out for you."

My eyes widen and I blush. "m-me, and Levi. Alone?" oh. Holy. Fuck. How will I pull this off?

She smiled at me. "I think you'll be grateful later." she walked away and before she closed the door to her room she said teasingly, "Night, Yaeger-Bombastic."
