The Words that made me Run

James was at my side sitting in the chair at the foot of my bed. I rubbed my eyes and stood up. "Where are we?" James asked. "Where in Plovdiv,Bulgara. My home." I said. "Bulgara! When did you learn that?" He asked. "I didnt it was just like I knew it. Anyway we need to get changed." I said looking at our atire.

"Send me back." James said. "Go back if you want. Im staying for a bit. We could both use a break from Missouri." I said. "I dont know." James said. "Come on itll be fun. You can stay here with me and ill show you the town. Its easy to get into school here and it will be fun." I said. "Lets just play it by ear." James said. I then went down to Romays room and grabbed some of my uncles clothes for James.

"These will have to do. We can go pick up more later today." I said handing him the clothes. I then went to my room to get my clothes. I changed then went found James. "We need to be in Missouri. Thats where they need us." He said. "But this is where were safe. Nothing can happen if were here." I said. "I dont know. Im worried tho." James said.

"So am I but thats not going to stop me.We need to go get food. Romay is in New York for the next few weeks for her job." I said. "Okay." We then went outside. It felt nice to be back even tho I was only gone for a short while. "First off to main market. Ow yes and not many people speak english here. Its mainly Bulgarian." I said.

"Now I need to learn a new languige?" James asked. "We wont be here for long. I just need to be home for a bit." I said while walking into market square. I walked over to the bread stand. Where hot bread was sold every day. "Един хубав хляб." (One fine loaf.) I said. I was then given a fine loaf witch was lovely. I then paid.

"Okay so you buy food from markets?" James asked. "No, not always but this is my favorite place. Its where I spend most of my time when im here. These people are amazing." I said. "Maye Връщате се толкова скоро?" (Maye? Back so soon?) I then looked up to see it was my long time best friend Alvrick Loneo.

"Alvrick? Да, мислех, че може да се наложи да се върна и да ви проверя. Все още чериш картофи всеки четвъртък от Rocus?" (Alvrick? Yes, I thought I might need to come back and check up on you. Still stealing a potatoes every Thursday from Rocus?) "Of corse." Alvrick said speaking in english now.

"Alvrick this is James he is from Missouri." I said with a smile. "Lovely to meet you." Alvrick said. "Pleasure is all mine." James said. "So how is your mother doing?" I asked. "Ah, not so fine. Im going into medicine but I dont think she'll live long enough to see the next year." Alvrick said.

"Eh, Im so sorry to hear of getting worse." I said. "Indeed, you should bring by some of your home made baklava's. She'll love that." He said. "Of corse. I will get what I need and make them as soon as im settled again." I said. "How long are staying?" He asked. I looked at the bread in my basket.

"I have no idea Alvrick. It could be a day or a year. I just dont know." I said. "Ah, well that's fine. But just please do come back again." He said. "Indeed I will. Me in the states is only temorary." I said. I could see the off look on James face.

"Yes, how lovely. Well I must go now. Me mother is in need of warm soup soon." He said. "How about you all come over for super if she is well to walk?" I asked. "That we shall. Lets say 4?" He asked. "Yes, in deed." I said with a smile. We then walked away. I picked up several other things. I descided to make my great grandmothers omglea dupe soup.

When we got home I started cooking. It was already 330. I had 30 minutes. They then came by. 5 minutes early. There was a small knock at the door. "One minute." I holored. James then ran to the door. "Hello." I heard him say.
