Weiss was walking to her father's office, looking quite sad as she held her arm. Her heels clicked against the floor and the carpet as she walked around the mansion.

"Good afternoon, sister" a boy with smart clothing and white hair greeted with a hand on his chest. "A pleasure to see you out of your room for a change"

"Hello, Whitley" Weiss sighed. "You're in a cheery mood today"

"Klein made crêpes for breakfast" Whitley informed. Weiss just looked at with a look that showed that she completely did not care.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"I heard father shouting at someone in his study earlier" Whitley answered.

"Mother?" Weiss asked.

"No. She's still drinking in the garden. I think it was a man" Whitley specified. Weiss' attention was grabbed soon after. "I just wanted to warn you. I heard he had asked to speak with you"

"I'll be fine" Weiss hugged her arm and looked away in worry.

"I know you will" Whitley reassured. "You're strong, like Winter"

"You never liked Winter" Weiss said, looking apparently shocked that her brother would compare her to someone he did not even like.

"True, but you can't deny her resolve" Whitley replied. Weiss looked awfully suspicious at Whitley's behaviour and crossed her arms.

"You seem...different" She noted.

"And you've been gone. I'll have you know, I didn't stop growing while you were away at Beacon" Whitley cheekily smirked and walked away. "Anyway, good luck with father"

Muffled shouting was coming from the study hall, but Weiss was too far away to hear it as she smiled at her brother's words.

"Thank you" was all the Weiss said as she made her way to her father's office.

...

"Do you believe in destiny?"

"Yes"

"It's what I do"

"NO!"

Ruby's eyes shot open as she woke up from her nightmare. Everyone was still asleep as the sun began to rise, but Ruby was still shook at what happened back at Beacon. She looked at Amity, who was sleeping against a tree, and sighed in relief. The memory of him getting stabbed by Cinder was heartbreaking, but she was glad that he made it out okay.

Time passed...

It was now broad daylight and Team RNJR, plus Amity, made there way down a dirt trail as Ruby had a map in her hands.

"Okay, the next town is..." Ruby trailed off. "Uh-huh! Uh-huh...we're lost"

"We're not lost! The next town is Shion. My family used to visit all the time" Jaune smiled.

"Sounded like a lot of fun" Amity nodded.

"Oh, yeah...don't you have like...four sisters?" Ruby asked.

"Uh, seven" Jaune corrected, making Ruby giggle a bit.

"Y'know, that actually explains a lot" Nora smirked.

"Hey, what do you mean-"

"SO, what did you guys do there?" Ruby asked.

"Oh! All sorts of stuff!" Jaune walked up to Ruby so he could show her the activities he used to do. "Over here is a great hiking trail, and over here is where we went camping all the time! I got my own tent, because I was special. Also, so my sisters would stop braiding my hair"
