Chapter 11: taking control

Cinder was up on her feet, killing endless amounts of Grimm with her newfound Fall Maiden power at its full potential. However, despite how powerful she was, it made very tired very quickly. Grimm were coming from all directions, but the flames that erupted from her hands made short work of both the Grimm and Cinder's stamina. Cinder dropped to her knees, breathing heavily.

"Enough" The woman with same deathly white complexion shouted. So...this was Salem. "I though that you were the girl who wanted power. Did you lie to me?!"

Cinder turned her head to Salem and shook her head, still finding it hard to speak.

"Then stop holding back" Salem replied. "If you wish to master your new power, you must-"

Salem was interrupted when the sound of the doors opened with a huge THUD! The person who opened the doors was Tyrian. He came out from the darkness, whimpering to himself.

"She'll forgive me" He whispered. "Pleeease forgive me"

"Tyrian" Salem said. "Your task...were you successful?"

"N-no" Tyrian stuttered, afraid of what would happen to him. "B-but, not all hope is l-lost. My poison, my stinger, I poisoned him. Qrow. He will not be a nuisance to you any longer. No...no longer. I've done that...have I pleased you?"

"The last eye is blinded" Salem frowned and turned to Tyrian. "You disappoint me"

Tyrian was about to go into a fit, until he remembered...

"Your Grace, I did not come back empty-handed" He informed.

"Really?" Salem questioned.

"It my not be the girl with the silver eyes, but hopefully, it's the next best thing" Tyrian smiled, running somewhere else and soon returning with a body. Tyrian pulled the mask of the body, revealing Amity, who was breathing heavily. "How is this?"

"Him..." Cinder managed to speak for a moment.

"Amity Millinike" Salem walked to Amity and examined him closely. "You're right, it IS the next best thing...white eyes. I haven't seen those in a LONG time"

"Have I pleased you?" Tyrian begged in every part of his body.

"Yes...you have" Salem smirked. Tyrian laughed maniacally as a Grimm tried to kill him, but he brutally murdered it as to give himself a reward. Cinder walked up to Amity and held his shirt collar. Salem turned to Cinder and glared at her. "Keep him alive"

"Cinder...I hoped to never see you again" Amity coughed. Cinder grit her teeth and punched Amity right in his stomach as revenge for shooting her.

At Patch...

Yang and Jotaro were decorating their weapons, including Yang's arm guards and Penny's hand. Ember Cilica was given a new shine coat of yellow and Penny's hand had a new touch of platinum and green. They then made their way inside of a garage, pulling the blanket off of a vehicle, revealing Yang's Bumblebee.

"I don't remember saying that you were ready" Taiyang was leaning against the garage doorframe with his arms crossed.

"Oh Yeah? You gonna try and stop me?" Yang smirked.

"No. I think I'm too sore from our last fight" Taiyang chuckled, holding his left arm. "I just wanted a better goodbye than a letter. And...I have a question for both of you"

Yang and Jotaro turned to Taiyang, awaiting his question. And he soon asked...

"Where are you going?"
