It was sunset at where Oscar lived. After what Ozpin had talked to him about, he had to make a hard decision. He took his back, which he packed with many utilities, and left home. He looked back one more time, knowing that it was going to be a really long time before he would go back.
"Y'know" Oscar started. "The strangest thing is how it feels. Leaving home is crazy. Going to the city is crazy. Everything you've told me is completely crazy. But, it doesn't feel crazy anymore. It feels like I'm doing the right thing"
"Well...I suppose that's good" Ozpin agreed.
"No. It's scary" Oscar corrected. The sound of thunder filled the air as it rumbles and crashed throughout the clouds. Oscar ran under a nearby shelter from the rain and tried to use and ATM machine. However, it declined his card. "Stupid thing. I'm assuming what kind of magic this is doesn't come with an infinite supply of money?"
"I'm afraid you'll have to solve this one on your ow-" Ozpin quickly stopped his sentence after sensing something.
"What is it?" Oscar asked.
"Be on your guard" Ozpin ordered. Oscar then turned to his left after hearing someone say...
"Here" It was Hazel. His big and brutish figure, along with his deep voice would certainly be one for Oscar to remember. Hazel then slammed his fist down onto the ATM, allowing a Lien to fly out. Oscar then grabbed the Lien off of the floor, watching Hazel walk off as well. "Don't let such a small obstacle block your path"
"That man...I felt..." Oscar trailed off. He knew that he had never seen him before, but with Ozpin now joined with him, he felt as if he were familiar. "Who is he?"
"Someone from my past" Ozpin answered. "Someone who should not be taken lightly"
A train then passed at a high speed, leaving loud sounds of tires screeching against the tracks and the engines running.
With Jaune and Ruby...
They had both made it Kuroyuri, the village that they had to unfortunately split up to. It turned out, Ren's words were true, Kuroyuri really WAS destroyed. It was even more wrecked than Shion. Jaune and Ruby had uneasy feelings in their bodies as they held Qrow's portable hammock.
"Oh man" Jaune whimpered.
"Come on" Ruby ordered, walking with Jaune. The village was too damaged, to even recognise any buildings. "Any of these buildings look like a pharmacy?"
"Honestly...it's hard to tell" Jaune replied.
"Ren didn't really want to come here...did he?" Ruby asked, examining the destruction that was scattered everywhere.
"It...didn't seem like it" Jaune said.
"Do you have any idea?" Ruby questioned.
"I think I have a pretty good idea why" Jaune nodded. Looking back on it, Jaune remembered what Ren had told him and his team. Ren actually used to live here.
Flashback
A lotus flower floated across a little river, and with it's natural beauty, a young Lie Ren kneeled down to admire it.
"Why, Hello, little Lie" Ren's Mother, An Ren, greeted. "Are we trying to catch a fish?"
"I found a flower in the water!" Ren pointed at the lotus, watching as it stood still.
"Oh, I see" An smiles, watching her son run up to her with enthusiasm.
"Can we keep it and plant it in the garden?" Ren asked.
