"Let's go to that restaurant down the road," Kaachan offered.

I was weary of being out in public with him, but I gave a nod. If Kaachan thought that I didn't want to be seen with him they maybe I wouldn't have any friends at all. I was grateful for Kaachan and his friendship.

"How far off is it?" I asked while we made our way into the the streets of our hometown.

"Three or four miles I would say," Kaachan responded. I looked around and saw the cherry blossom trees surrounding us.

"Do you see the pretty flowers Kaachan? Oh aren't they lovely," I grabbed Kaachan's hand to get his attention and I pointed at the trees with a grin.

"Yeah, gorgeous," Kaachan agreed. I looked down and saw that he had laced his fingers between mine. I pretended to not notice.

"Do you think that the other students at this school are powerful enough to get into UA? I think that some have potential," I questioned Kaachan.

"I think you are the most qualified," he smirked at me. I blushed and looked down to my feet, hoping to end the subject at hand.

"You are very powerful Kaachan, you will definitely make it in," I informed him with a smile of awe. He just shrugged and stuck his other hand in his pocket.

We walked to the restaurant in silence. His hand held mine amd mine held his. Neither of us dared to break the comfortable silence.

The restaurant appeared before us after a while. The sign read "ヒーローカフェ" or Hero Cafe. It was made to send a thanks to all of the fighting heros.

"Hello, welcome to Hero Cafe! Just two for you today?" An overly happy woman questioned as we entered the small building.

"Yes, somewhere away from the noise if you please. I have a rather alarming headache," Kaachan politely responded.

Had he had a headache the whole time? Oh stupid me I probably gave it to him! Ugh, why do I talk so much! My brain screamed at me while the lady lead us to a table.

"Your waiter will be with you shortly," the lady told us. She walked happily back to the front and I turned to face Kaachan.

"Sorry if I gave you a headache. I talk a lot," I mumbled and glanced up at him. We had only just released hands due to sitting across from each other.

"No, it was the annoying blaring of the police unit as they rounded up a crime scene. You remember the car driving past? Yeah, it was that," Kaachan chuckled and picked up the menu.

A waiter walked up to us seconds later and gave me a small smirk. He had black hair and blue eyes. I quickly determined that his quirk was water after reading is mind.

"Hey cutie, what can I get for you to drink? I could drink you up all day," he flirted. A growl emitted from Kaachan's throat as the waiter got a little too close for comfort.

"Well I would like a coke, and he would like a water," Kaachan glared. The man shook his head quickly and scrambled away.

"How did you know I wanted a water?" I asked him after the guy was gone.

"It was either water or Natchan, your favorite fruit juice. They don't serve Natchan so water," Kaachan explained.

"I didn't know you paid attention that much! Thank you, Kaachan," I smiled and looked at the menu.

"I also known that you probably want katsudon," Kaachan smirked. He was right, that's what I wanted.

"Yeah, and you want the spiciest thing you can find," I smiled. He just chuckled and nodded softly. Our drinks were brought to us and we ordered.

I ended up getting katsudon as predicted and Kaachan got the spiciest thing which was karashi mentaiko. How he eats such spicy foods would always be a mystery to me. However, I wouldn't judge him for it.

"So, how is everything going? Make any new friends? I know I have kind of been your only friend for a while," Kaachan started small talk.

"Oh, I don't want any other friends. I like having just you. I get really nervous and can't talk to other people, so I just avoid them," I rambled.

"Well, you should start to talk to more people. Not that I don't like having you as a friend, but because I don't want you to be so lonely," Kaachan suggested. I nodded and we continued to talk.

Soon we were done with dinner and we were walking back to his house. The sun was setting in the sky and it looked gorgeous. I watched the majestic scene unfold in complete awe.

"Come on, Nerd, we should get back to my house so we have time for showers and stuff," Kaachan chuckled seeing my amazed expression.

"But Kaachan, I haven't seen a sunset in ages," I pleaded. He stopped immediately and took me to a park.

"How long has it been since you watched a sunset Deku?" Kaachan asked me.

"I don't know, a few years," I shrugged. I watched the sun slowly fall into the Earth. It was such a gorgeous sight. I wanted to witness it everyday.

As the darkness began to settle and night began, my eyes suddenly felt heavy. I let my head fall on Kaachan's shoulder. A half sleep over took me.

I felt myself being picked up bridal styke before I fell into a deep slumber. Visions of my mother's wicked face flashed before my eyes and I let out a small yelp.

I woke up later in a comfortable bed. Kaachan was shaking me and had on only some shorts. I blushed and looked down at the floor.

"You need to take a shower and then you can sleep," Kaachan told me. I nodded and took a shower. He had laid out some clothes for me to wear.

"Thank you, for the clothes and for letting me stay over," I smiled as I laid down in the bed next next to him.

"Yeah, no problem, now go to sleep," he responded and wrapped an arm around me. I fell asleep in his warm embrace.
