I awoke in some weird place. It was full of darkness not a fragment of light could be seen. Just pure blackness.
It felt weird, not seeing color. I just kind of stared into the void, hoping soon the color would arrive. My mind drifted to thoughts of Deku and me.
The darkness then transformed. A cute little home had formed. I saw a pretty little girl with jer hair in pigtails. She beamed and ran away from whatever was chasing her. Soon a male with a mop of green hair scooped her up.
Deku held the precious little girl with such love. My heart swelled at the sight of my boyfriend. I then saw myself come in.
My arms eloped themselves around my boyfriend and the innocent child giggled. Izuku turned around giving me a peck on the lips. I then heard him speak.
"I love you," he whispered. His green eyes sparkles like emeralds as he spokebthe words I had been dying to hear. Those words made my heart skip a beat.
"I love you to," responded myself. Deku grinned and gave me a peck on the lips before going to make dinner.
The vision changed and I was standing at an alter. Behind me stood Kirishima and he grinned from ear to ear. The ing my head I saw Izuku Midoriya walking towards me in a suit.
"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today..." I couldn't focus on the words being said. All that mattered was that Deku, my Deku, was marrying me.
The teachers were all their as well as all of class one a. Smiles littered the entire room until I saw one woman. She wore a glare.
Inko Midoriya stood in the back watching her son happily wed. She seemed to take so much displeasure in her own sons happiness. It was sickening ton
watch her scowl. The vision switched once more. A villain was terrorizing the streets and I ran beside the greenette. Deku used electricity to weaken the monster.
The villain fell to the ground but scowled at my Deku. He seemed so mad. I couldn't react before the next thing happened.
Deku was on the floor. His head sliced clean off and to the side. The vision changed once more.
I was now at a graveyard. Izuku Midoriya was labelled on the headstone. My heart sank to the ground.
Tears welled up in my eyes and I got the grass. Deku was gone. That broke my heart.
"I'm sorry Kaachan. I know you wouldn't want me to do this, but you have fatal injuries. Even with all the healing in the world you would only have a year to live. Understand that I love you so much," I heard Deku mumble.
What was he going to do? Suddenly I felt my eyes shoot open and I shot up. A crash sounded and my lovely boyfriend lied on the floor.
His body was covered in injuries and he seemed to be loosing a lot of blood. I noticed myself in a hospital bed and couldn't figure out what was happening. Then I realised.
Izuku Midoriya, my greatest friend, had just switched health with me. He showed me the trick one time when he got the flu. Why?
"Deku, you didn't," I felt myself testing up as he stood. He was so strong. How could he stand while experiencing the pain that had kept me unconscious.
"I love you, Kaachan," Deku smiled before fainting. The nurses rushed in and gasped. I was rushed off the bed and he was out in my place.
I sat on the chair where he sat for me. While the nurses told me the news. The stuff that would have happened to me.
"He has not much but a hear to live. We used many healing quirks on you, but they could only do so much. Now that you are in his position and him in yours, he will basically take on all of your health issues.
His lungs are nearly collapsed so he has to be on oxygen at all times. His bones are very frail so he can't do tiresome activities. He needs to sleep for at least sixteen hours. Also enduring to much pain could put him in imminent danger," the nurse explained.
I had one year with him. Why would he do that? Why would he not just let me die? As long as he lived I would have lived a happy life.
"He should be awaking soon," the nurse told me before she scurried out of the room. As if on cue I heard a groan.
"I hate you," I cried. He just laughed lightly and grabbed my hand.
"K-kaachan, I'm sorry. You do realize that you so, so, so much to live for, right? You have so many people that care for you and I couldn't let you suffer and them too," Deku weakly said.
"I would endure all the pain in the world if it meant you would be safe. The people I live would move on, but I won't be able to move on from this. Without you, I am good as dead," I sobbed. Deku's grip tightened around my hand.
"I'm sorry," he whispered. He went back to sleep after that. The nurses let me know when he would be discharged and they left me to mourn for a loss that hasn't happened yet.
That night so fell asleep next to my boyfriend's bed. He laid dormant in the hospital bed, close to death. I didn't sleep well at all. Not at all.
