I didn't want to leave him with her. I never do. He always seemed so sad after being with that vile woman. I couldn't just kidnap him though.
No matter how much harm that woman caused, he still loved her. He cared about nothing that she did, and only how much he loved her. I wish I could have persuaded him to hate her.
I walked home to the old hag I called my mother. She was standing in the kitchen and cooking a lot of food. That made me confused.
"Uh, you do realize there are only three mouths to feed, right?" I asked her as I grew closer. She just glared at me.
"Inko and Izuku are coming over, dipshit," the old hag informed me.
"Cool, I'll be in my room if you need me, old hag," I grumbled and began to make my way to my room.
"While you're in there, clean it," she yelled in response. Why should I clean my room? That's dumb!
I just grumbled incoherent words and stomped to my room. The door slammed behind me and I began to pick up the few articles of clothing I had on my floor. I checked them into the basket before pulling out my phone.
I rang Deku and waited for him to pick up. He answered after the third ring. I could tell that I was on speaker.
"Hi, Kaachan," he greeted. His voice was soft and he seemed to be doing something.
"Hey, whatcha doing?" I asked. A search could be heard on the other side as I spoke.
"Drawing, sorry if I don't respond right away," he answered. A smile grew on my face as I imagined Deku drawing.
"Can you face time? I want to see what you're drawing," I looked around my room for a hoodie as I asked.
"Uh, yeah, just, um, one sec," he mumbled. A slight shuffling could be heard and he hung up. Seconds later he called back in FaceTime.
"Why are you wearing a hoodie? Is your house- wait. Is that my hoodie?" I narrowed my eyes as I looked at the jacket.
"Um, yes," he looked guilty and began to take it off. It was then that I saw all the marks on his face.
"Did that woman hurt you again? I swear to God I will kill her," I growled. Deku began to ramble about how I shouldn't do anything irrational, but I was livid.
That woman had left marks on MY Deku's face. Wait, my Deku? No, that was not what I meant at all. She had left marks on Deku's face. Just Deku, not my Deku, just Deku.
"Besides, I deserved it," that small line caught my attention. What had she filled his brain with?
"Izuku Midoriya, you don't deserve a single thing that woman does to you. You deserve so much more than that. If you didn't love her so much I would have shown you something much better," I demanded. He needed to believe me, yet, by the look in his eye, I knew he didn't.
"Ok," he looked down at his paper and began to draw again. He was drawing a guy holding a balloon. A heart had been carved out if the guys chest.
"That's a cool drawing," I complimented. His face tinged red and he focussed more on the drawing before him. He was shading and he had his tongue between his lips to keep him concentrated.
"Izuku! Come on we need to go! Get you ass down here now," Inko yelled. I watched as the adorable boy flinched and grabbed his phone.
"See you soon! Bye, Kaachan," he hung up and I assume he went downstairs to meet his 'mother.'
A knock sounded on the front door ten minutes later. I rushed out to see that Deku and Inko had arrived. The old hag began to talk to Inko while I dragged Deku into my room.
"So, do you want another hoodie? I mean, you must like my hoodie a lot to be wearing it," I pointed out. He blushed but nodded.
"Do you want a vulgar one or no? Oh I know you can have this one," I handed Deku my all time favorite hoodie.
It was black with roses on the left. The roses were intertwined with checker board patterns creating a pretty scene. On the right was '寒いです' printed out in red letters. (I'm cold)
"Thanks Kaachan!" Deku exclaimed as he hugged me tightly. He took of the hoodie he had on currently and switched to the one I gave him. He tossed the other one into my laundry hamper.
"Do you want to spend the night? I could ask my mom and dad and I could ask Inko too. Or, your mom could stay here and we could stay at your house, or we could stay at your house with your mom there, really whatever you want," I rambled. A giggle emitted from the back of Deku's throat as he listened to me.
"Ask you mom if I can stay here please. My house is not very presentable," Deku smiles softly. Oh how I had missed that smile. I wished I could see it everyday.
"Time for dinner," the old hag yelled. Both of us made our way to the dining room.
My family didn't have a fancy traditional house. It was just a normal house with a dining room table and chairs. Nothing weird or anything like that.
"What did you make? Hopefully nothing too bad," I grumbled the last part and Deku giggled but shut up when his mom glared at him.
"Katsudon. I know that it's Izuku's favorite," the old hag answered. Deku's eyes lit up and he waited for the food to arrive.
"Thank you, Mrs. Bakugo! It's tastes delicious," Deku grinned after the first bite.
Eventually Deku and I had gone to lay down. He fell asleep in my arms and I fell asleep holding him. I loved this boy!
-one week later-
"Kaachan! Kaachan! Did you get in? Of course you did," Deku had just burst into my room uninvited.
"Yeah, I got second in the leader board, hmm, wonder who got first," I smirked at him and he blushed.
"I got in! I got one hundred villain points and seventy rescue points! We're going to UA together! Yay! I am so excited," Deku squeaked in delight.
UA here we come.
