Chapter 2 - Family Time

"You can share your room with Billy and Freddy" said Victor. It's okay, I'll handle it.
Pedro and Eugene helped me to carry my luggage to the room. I thanked them. There was a bunk bed, a closet,a nightstand, a chair and a table and a soft fur carpet on the wooden floor. I unpacked my luggage and arranged my closet. Then I sat there and read my novel called "13 reasons why".
*Time skip*
Somebody knocked on the door. "Yes", "Dinner is ready" Darla was there. "Okay I'm coming". I replied. She smiled and went back downstairs. I headed downstairs. Everyone was on table expect me. I sat down and finished the dinner.
Everyone was done with the dinner. The phone rang. I was about to pick it up, but Rosa said,"Let me pick it up".
*After 1 minute*
She disconnected the phone. "Victor, aunt Jolene is sick, we have to go." "Okay, let me get ready."
"So kids, we'll be back till morning. Mary, take care of kids." She nodded.
They went away.
I sat down with Mary and started our girlish talk. I told her about my crush on William Franklyn Miller and Johnny Orlando, my idols Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, my favourite song Boy with luv. And she told me about her crush on Kris Wu, and idols Noah Centineo, and favourite song Back to you and our list goes on.
I played video games with Eugene, Shadow fight and Hungry Hippos. He was too obsessed with them.
Then I checked the time, it was 12:30.
I went back to my room and saw Freddy reading some superhero comic. "Hey there", Freddy said. "Hey buddy" "What are you doing?", "You can see." "Are you an addict like Eugene too?" "Yeah. I love superheroes". "I love them too, their swag is unique" "Whom do you like the most of justice league?" "Supergirl, she is awesome." "I love Batman."Can you just tell who is most powerful, Batman or Superman?" "Batman, no Superman, uh, maybe Supergirl or Flash." You can't choose like me" Both of us giggled. "So, you would be tired, you can sleep here on the lower bunk bed. But it's Billy's. I don't think he will object a girl sleeping here." "It's Okay. Sorry for asking but how could you manage to sleep up there?" "To be honest, I don't know." We both giggled."Both of you, go to sleep." Mary shouted. "Okay, Good Night for now" "Good night." I said and drifting off to sleep.
