Chapter 8 - Sleepover at Anderson House

I reached Vasquez House with everyone else. I banged open the door and ran inside with Billy and Freddy. Rosa, who was sitting on the dining table jumped all of a sudden. "Hi, Rosa.", I greeted her. "Hello, dear. You scared me to death.", she replied back. "How was the first day at school?", "Super cool." "And guess what?". "What?", "I reunited with my childhood best friend". "Wow!". "I was like I can't be happier. And me, Billy and Freddy are going to hangout with her.", "Superb, Good to hear you got some friends." "Well, not going to wait for fun, Are we?", asked Rosa. "Yeah, Definitely.", I replied. "Go get ready then.", said Rosa. I ran upstairs in our room. It's 2'o clock right now. I have a whole 1 hour. I went to bathroom and turned the shower on. I finally finished my process. I ran out of the bathroom blindly and ran into someone. I looked up and saw Billy staring down at me. "Oh Billy, I am so sorry.", I apologized quickly. "Chill Jenny, it's okay.", Said Billy. "You're looking gorgeous.", He complimented. "Thanks, Billy.", I said hiding my blush. "Guys, get a room already.", Said Freddy, who was sitting on a chair near the study table. This time I couldn't hold my red cheeks back. "Shut the fuck up Fred!", Billy almost yelled at him. "Oh, look she is blushing.", Freddy yelled. Billy turned to look at me. I walked past him to the chair where Freddy was sitting, picked up the journal which was lying on the table, rolled it and hit him hard on his head. "Oi, that hurts", Freddy cried. Billy bursted in a fit of laughter. "You deserved it.", I replied laughing. "I was kidding though", said Freddy. I hit him again but this time lightly on the shoulder. We all bursted in laughter and tears falling out of our eyes. "Okay okay that's enough", I said trying to calm myself down.
I heard message birds chirping on my phone. I checked my phone, it was a message from Jo.
Jo: Hey Jenny..
Me: Hi!
Jo: I was wondering if you, Billy and Freddy wanna stay tonight for a sleepover. My parents are going out and'll be back till morning. My brother is going too.
Both Freddy and Billy were rolling on wooden floor still giggling
Me: Let me ask both of them and Rosa.
Jo: Okay.
Guys, Jo wanna stay us at her home tonight. A sleepover. "WOW, AMAZING, LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.", Freddy started yelling like a five year old kid at a icecream parlour. I wiggled my eyebrows motioning Billy to say something. He smiled and nodded his head in reply. "I should ask Rosa.", "She's not going to deny.", Freddy said quickly. "But still we should tell her." I said. "I'm going to inform her." I ran downstairs and saw Rosa working in the kitchen. "Hey", I said. "Hey, you ready.", "Yeah. What are yo- don't tell me you're making chocolate chip cookies. No matter I love them, I wish I could stay.", I whined. "It's okay, I'll will save some for you guys." Rosa replied. "Yesssssss", I nearly yelled. Rosa smiled. "C'mon Jenny, we're going to be late." Freddy yelled from the hall. "Carry on, I'll catch up in a minute", I yelled back. "Okay".This time Billy was the one who yelled. "Oh Yeah, I just came here to ask you something." "About what?", Rosa asked adding chocolate chips in the batter. "Can we stay for the night at Jo's house??", I asked quickly. "Of course you can.", "Thank you so much", I said hugging her. "Now go, don't want to be late, of course.", "Okay bye mom." I said as I turned around.

I turned around and Rosa gave me a warm smile. I smiled back and walked outside. Idk why but, Rosa reminds me of my mother. I looked up to see Billy and Freddy were just two blocks away. Well I have a talent. I can run quietly. HAHAHA. So I ran quietly up to them. "Booo, hahahaha", I said in a fake hoarsy voice as I threw my arms on their shoulders, so I was standing between them. "HOLY SHIT," Billy shouted at the same time when Freddy shouted. "WTF? JENNY YOU SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH.", "Language scaredy cats." I said smirking. I looked at Freddy who rolled his eyes. And Billy was just laughing at my sudden strange behaviour.
"I look sweet but I don't play nice" I said sweetly.
