I shot up from my bed breathing heavily. The time was 12:55. Just 10 minutes sleep and I woke up because of a stupid nightmare. "Freddy, you're still awake." "Yeah, I thought you were sleeping." I was but a nightmare woke me up.", "You alright?", "Yes." "Billy isn't back yet." "Tell me something 'bout him." "He's a 14 year old kid who ran from 24 foster homes.","What!?","Huge count right, I had the same reaction when Victor told me.","He would be insane.", "A bit , maybe."
Somebody knocked on the door."Maybe it's Billy.", Freddy said. He opened the door, "Hey Darla, you're still up.","I can't sleep. Can you sing me a lullaby.", "I can't but maybe Jenny can." Freddy said looking at me. "Yes, I can. I will sing you a lullaby." "Let's go", said Darla, hugging me.
I hugged her and we went to her room.
*After 10 minutes*
Darla was fast asleep. I quietly climbed out of the bed, not waking her up. I went downstairs in the kitchen to drink some water. I saw a shadow lurking through the curtains outside. I freaked out a bit. I jumped at the sudden bang at the door. Here I was ready to freeze the crap out of the stranger. I held my hand up and a shine and blue light appeared on my hand. I opened the door.
