Peter Meets Loki

Peter was having an awful day. First he woke up at 8:45am and had to rush to get ready for school. He ended up being 45 minutes late to his first lesson. To make it worse Ned was at home sick with the flu and MJ was absent today so he didn't have anyone to hang out with at lunch. That apparently envoked Flash to make fun of him for it.

"Aww, little Penis Parker's all alone. What, your nerd crew finally ditch ya? I wouldn't blame them. They could do so much better than your ass." Flash taunted.

This happened all day. He forgot his essay was due today in AP English Language III And has to, embarrassingly, tell the teacher so.

"Mr. Parker this is an AP class. If you can't do the work that's due at a certain time then you shouldn't be in here. All the other students did it so can you. You're not exempt from assignments." Mr. Vormir said in front of the whole class which had Flash in it. Great. That warranted even more tormenting.

"Yeah Penis, we know you're poor but we didn't think you're I-can't-afford-pencil-and-paper-poor." That gained him laughs from the entire class. The teacher didn't even bat an eye.

"I'm sorry Mr. Vormir it won't happen again." Peter said with remorse.

Mr. Vormir sighed. "Do you at least have it written on a doc?"

"Yes sir." He has copied it to a google doc when he was with Mr. Stark.

"Then go to the library and borrow a Chomebook to finish it. Have it to me before the end of class and I won't mark off ten points on it for being late."

He quickly gathered his things and made his way to the Library.

Second, it started raining after school and since Peter told Mr. Stark he was okay to walk to the Tower because Happy was sick, he got soaked. The worse thing? It was that ice cold rain with the wind blowing. By the time Peter got to the Tower he was drenched. He walked inside the private elevator after he swiped his badge. Friday didn't have to say anything and immediately took Peter to his Tony.

The elevator opened with a ding and he heard arguing. Looking into the living room he saw Tony, Natasha, and Bruce sitting in the couch while Thor stood on one side of the room in front of another man who was standing on the other side of the room yelling at each other. Steve was holding Thor back while Bucky and Clint was holding the man back.

"I BEG YOUR PARDON? I do not need a babysitter! I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself thank you very much." Yelled the man.

"Yes well as far as I'm concerned no your not. Last time I left you by yourself you almost destroyed New York! I can't trust you anymore Loki! As much as I'd like to you have done too much to me, to my friends to be able to be left alone. Besides it's better with me than it is in the dungeons!"

So I guess his name is Loki. After standing there for about a minute Peter finally had enough. He walked over to the two men fighting and stood between them.

He took a deep breath and said, "Please stop yelling at each other. I am wet, tired, and cranky and when I get here I don't wanna listen to two people arguing over something stupid. So please stop."

"Man of Spiders! I'm so happy you're here. Meet my brother Loki. Loki this is Man of Spiders, Peter Parker." Well that was a full 360. Peter looked at Loki and he looked back with malice in his eyes.

"Get out of my presence you punny mortal, I am above you in every aspect." He seethed.

That was the last straw. He was so done with today and he had been on the verge of tears since 2:45pm when Flash decided it was a good idea to tell Peter to kill himself since no one cares anyway. So he let it out. He looked down and tears were falling down his checks. It was so quiet for about ten seconds. When everyone realized he was crying they all gasped. At the same time. It even seemed like the world gasped, heck even the universe.

Loki was panicked he didn't realize that his words hurt the little person. He actually felt... bad. He knew the avengers would make him regret saying that so he tried to fix his mistake.

"I'm so terribly sorry my friend, do you want me to do magic? I can do magic. Or, uh, I can turn into a snake for you?? Or... or I can get you a churro. Do you like churros???" He realized that his tactic wasn't working. He has to act fast. He got into his knees in front of little... what did Thor call him? Peter. Yeah Peter. He wrapped his arms around Peter and pulled him into a hug.

"Please don't cry small child. I'm sorry if my words hurt you. I never intended for you to cry. I was angry at my brother but that is no reason for me to insult a child. Please forgive me." Loki pleaded.

Peter slowly got his breath back and wrapped his arms around Loki. Loki's breath hitched since he didn't think Peter would hug him back. They stayed like that for about a minute. Peter pulled back and gave Loki one of his award winning smiles.

"Nice to meet you Loki. I'm Peter. Peter Parker."

Loki thought to himself I will never let any harm befall this child.

"Now that that's done, Peter go into your room and dry off and change clothes or you'll get pneumonia." Steve said. Peter did as told and when he left the room the rest of the avenger whirled on Loki. They all yelled at the same time all talking about hurting him if he ever makes Peter cry again.

"Okay okay I get it. I will never make young Peter cry again."

Peter walked out in his sleep wear and they had a family movie night putting Loki's actions behind them. Peter ended up falling asleep on Loki and Loki never felt so honored in his life.
