Upcoming in this chapter: Emma comes home. There's a fight and Mal comforts Regina.

Emma's POV

I get outside and I sigh. Fresh air. I don't know how long I have before I am going back but I think I want to see my son and my girlfriend who's not really my girlfriend anymore. I get into an uber and then get to her house. Traveling was super easy seeing as I only have my uniform. My hair pulled back in a low ponytail. I knock on her door and she opens and tears immediately fill her eyes.

"Regina who's at the door?" She wipes her eyes and turns around.

"Emma." The blonde steps behind Regina and gives me a smile. Oh how I want to break her fucking face.

"Come in. Henry is upstairs playing." She says and I nod.

"Give me a second." I nod and close the door. She walks away with Mal. But I'm nosy so after a few seconds I go by the corner and peak my head a little just to see.

"So she's back?" This woman asks and Regina's pacing the kitchen.

"Probably only for a small time but I don't know what to do Mal. It's like- I love her all over again. I never even stopped loving her I just pushed it away knowing if I keep feeling this way Henry wouldn't have a mother."

"Hey look at me. Stop pacing." Regina looks up at her tears in her eyes.

"Mal. I-" She stops and looks down.

"You don't have to hide from me."

"It's been a year!" She cries and Mal pulls her to her chest. Regina covers her face and this Mal woman wraps her arms around my girlfriend. My girlfriend! Ugh! I hate jealousy.

"She doesn't even know about-"

"You never told her? Not in your letters?"

"Of course not! If I told her she would have stayed here. She wouldn't have left me. Us."

"Is that so bad?"

"You're saying that like you wish she never left. We never would've met or be here right now."

"Well you did look like you were going to cry over some chicken nuggets when we met." Regina laughs and she wipes her cheeks.

"I was. It's such a hard decision you know?" Regina says and they both laugh. I look down. I can't be mad. I told her to move on. I can still be angry on the inside.

"It's not. But you should go talk to her and I should leave."

"Why? Don't leave."

"Regina...."

"I know but we were just having a nice time."

"And we can another day. How about I bring over some chinese tomorrow for lunch during my break."

"You are killing me with this eating out all the time. You're going to kill me. I never eat out this much."

"Well Henry sure loves it."

"Gosh. He needs to go to the gym with me to work off these calories you're feeding us."

"Shhh you look beautiful." Regina smiles.

"I should go talk to her. I feel like it's going to be a lot of yelling after I tell her everything. I know it's going to cause a huge fight."

"I'll call you or text you tonight."

"Okay." Mal leans down and kisses her forehead. And then they hug. I make my way back to the living room. She walks past and gives me a friendly smile before opening and closing the door.

"I didn't know you had company. I'm very sorry."

"No no it's okay." She says putting her long raven hair behind her ear. it has grown over the year.

"We need to talk." She says and I nod.

"I need to apologize to you and Henry first before we start this conversation. And I'm sorry. I really really mean it Regina. I left you two. And it broke my heart reading how you two were handling and coping. I'm glad you found someone who makes you happy."

"Oh Mal and I aren't together. She likes me and I won't lie and tell you I don't feel something but it's nothing compared to what I feel with you. And we've only kissed like 6 times. We've never done anything. Nothing serious like that."

"Oh."

"I will hate the answer but I have to ask. Did you?"

"There was a girl. We kissed but nothing more I couldn't do it."

"Me either. Everything reminds me of you. When she touched my hips I see you and I start crying. I see you in everything anyone does honestly."

"It's weird. When I eat I remember how much better your food is." She laughs and her smiles shows. God she's gorgeous.

"Let's sit." I sit down and she sits next to me but still some distance between us.

"Before you left. I was feeling sick. I was confused about why I was throwing up. I had to take off days and I told you it was nothing but it was something."

"Please don't tell me you're dying Regina."

"Thank god." She giggles and I smile. Damn I missed that sound.

"But, I was pregnant."

"You were what?!"

"Pregnant Emma."

"And you didn't tell me?!"

"You didn't tell new about the whole going into the army thing." She says.

"I deserved that."

"You deserve more than that!"

"That's not fair! We have a child! A child I didn't even know we had! How could you do that! I missed out on a fucking year Regina! The whole fucking pregnancy! What the hell Regina!"

"You missed out on a year of all our lives!"

"Why didn't you tell me!"

"Because you would've stayed! And you wanted to do this for some stupid reason. Leaving your family must've sounded like fun at the moment!"

"Cool it Regina!" She visibly calms down. She knows I'm not fucking playing.

"I was scared Emma! Who knows if you wanted a baby. We are distant and not in the best place to have a child. I did what I thought was right for me and my child."

"There's where you fucked up! That's our child! I should have just as much a say in that babies life just like you do! She's our future and she doesn't even know me! I'm her mother!"

"I didn't get a say in our life! Our future! You threw it away! Like Henry and I didn't mean anything to you! That loosing us was worth some damn job! How could you do that Emma!"

"It's what I wanted! No one said it would be easy! You think I wanted to leave you?!"

"I didn't. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make!"

"Yeah well no one said Henry would go into deep depression over your stupid ass." I jump forward with my hand reaching for her throat.

"Watch how you talk to me Regina!"

"Or else what?! You'll leave again! Go! I won't stop you!" With all my built up rage. I push her down on the couch and I pull her shorts off. She takes my shirt off throwing it and I slip my cock out my boxers. I push into her hard.
