CHAPTER NINE: INTERNS

After the incident that happened last night, Nishi has been on high alert. The star on that nomus chest was really weird. I had to ask her about it another time, but today was the day we got to upgrade our costumes, and see what heroes decided to recrute us.

"I'm so excited" I say to Deku who is equally stoked. "I wonder what pro hero decided to pick us" He says as Aizawa comes into the class holding our results fully healed. "Before we get started, I asked Midnight and Cementoss to come in and help pick out your new superhero names" He says as the class burst out in excitement. A few minutes later, almost everyone picked there hero names except me and Deku. He stuck with the name I've been calling him, and Iida with his name like Todoroki. Nishi chose a awesome hero name she called herself "Megavolt"

"I think I'm ready" I say as Midnight motions me up to the podium. "I thought long and hard for my superhero name, I wanted a space related name" I say nervously, "you know because of my quirk,I chose The cosmic hero, Eclipse" I say with a slight confidence.

After we pick our names, Aizawa Stands up from his nap, "Don't be disappointed if you didn't get any offers" he says as he hands out the papers. "It just shows you need to improve, or you didn't get anything because you were too destructive."

He hands me my paper, and passes up Deku. "Hey, why didn't you get one" I say in disappointment, "must not have been good enough" he states as he starts to looks sad. 

"There's still some offers coming in from more places, some of you got many offers" I look at Deku in excitement. "You might not have gotten one because it has not printed yet" i say with a smile on my face. He smiles back at me, but was startled when there was a loud scream in the back of the class. Nishi and Uraraka where fangirling over the pro hero  Gunhead. "THey must have got the same internship" Deku says as he looks back at me. "Who did you get?"

"Umm... That's a good question" I say as i look at my paper for the first time. I scroll down the list as i stop in schock at the hero Stargazer! (Custom hero) Stargazer is the outer space hero, along with his sidekick Pulsar, with his light manipulation, and her energy absorption and phasing powers, they make the best space team duo. I snap out of my trance of narration and see Deku staring at me. "You ok Iwa" He says as i notice i was staring off into space, "OF COURSE" I yell getting the attention of a few students sitting around me.

I apologize as i look back at Deku. "My dreams have come true!" I say in a whispery yelling voice, "Stargazer wants to intern me" "That's great" His face now more excited. "You belong up in the stars" He says as i blush. A few minutes past, I get the new costume upgrades i applied for, after Nishi threw me out of a window frying my old one, so i needed a stronger one, made out of stronger materials.

I was so excited Stargazer, and now my new costume!!! "I FEEL UNSTOPPABLE" I accidentally say out loud. Nishi looks at me with a, "Why you gotta be so extra" look. "I apologize and go back to freaking out quietly.

(The next day)

Nishi was making her favorite again, which i loved. "Omurice." Turns out she was gonna go with Uraraka to train under Gnhead

I was excited for her, but not as excited as she was when i told her i was going to be Stargazers intern.

"OMG TESUMA IWAGAWA ARE YOU KIDDING" She says as she runs up to me, "That's literally your childhood hero, you liked him more than All Might" I smile.

She was right he was the one, besides thirteen with powers dealing with space, and i loved it. "I know" "I can't wait to meet him and Polaris" I say as i get ready to go to school. "Hey, can you teleport us to school, i don't feel like walking" Nishi says as she about to put her shoes on. "Fine," i say with annoyance as we leave the house with our packed suitcases and bento boxes.

(Few hours later)

We arrived at a train station, everyone preparing to leave. Aizawa walks up to us as begins to explain what we are about to do. Everyone started to say their goodbyes, Iida was doing his internship in Hosu City.

I walked up to him, "Iida, be careful" I say as he avoids eye contact. "I'll be fine Tesuma, ill..." "No" I interrupt "I know why your going to Hosu City, it's because of your brother" I say stepping up, "Don't Get killed." He stares off into space for a bit and looks at me, "I promise" He says as he walks away. "Iwa" Nishi yells startling me.  

"Be safe up there" she says as she hugs me

"I will" I say as my train pulls up "See you later Onē-san" She smiles and waves good buy.

As i walk on the train I began to daydream. I cant believe im about to go into outer space I think as i began to drift into sleep.
